We are in Florida (US). What, if any? Is the difference between preschool and VPK? I want to be sure I’m understanding it correctly so we don’t miss something that our son should be doing.
Many providers have signs out, “APPROVED VPK PROVIDER”. My current understanding is that it is all the same but VPK is the name for the program where you can apply for a voucher to enroll for free.
Is VPK the same as preschool from a curriculum perspective? Am I correct that the only difference is how you’re paying for it?
I don’t think we’ll end up getting a voucher with the way the points system works. We’re not staff, no other siblings, not military. We should get the points for living in the school attendance area but that’s it.
