I got a brother. Everytime i started my diet he constantly giving me ‘advice’ on how to do it properly. What is his advice you might ask?
I always counter his amazing advice by saying, “if it’s under my maintenance daily calories i will lose weight”. Then he start changing topics about there’s a clean calorie deficit and dirty calorie deficit (like clean bulking and dirty bulking). Well I don’t deny that bcs it’s true. I can’t win in his argument because he won’t listen and always said “my friend say this, my friend say do this, my friend say dont do that”. He constantly includes his friends in those arguments. He giving ‘advice’ but I don’t see him do it.
What he believes in is drinking fat burner and eat without moderation and expecting weight loss. Seriously, this is my 3rd diet cycle in the past 5-6 years. Everytime i do it he’s always there to give his advice. The funny thing is, i already lose 15kg without using his advice.
After weekly weight check, i see the numbers are going down. But he said, “you shouldn’t weight while on diet, you should measure your body size instead”.
It’s really tiring talking to people thinking they’re always right.

- Cut sugar immediately on day 1 of diet
- Eat pasta will burn more fat and pull the water out from the fats.

Hi. 34/M. And I hate my body because of it's inability to heal from injuries.
Three years ago, I became disabled during the prime of my life, age 31, after an allergic reaction to a pharmaceutical. I nearly died from it, I was crippled, and I required 5 surgeries over 2.5 years (soon to be 6 it appears) to walk without aid again. For about 3 months at the beginning of this year, I was feeling better. Not "normal", but nearing a new normal where I'd soon be able to shop for my own groceries or go for leisurely half hour walks. Not so fast.
After so many surgeries I had to implement a stretching routine to get going in the morning. On 4/20 I woke up knowing something was seriously wrong under my right foot. Doing a simple, basic downward dog every day for 2 months suddenly did me in. How pathetic huh.
Went to my foot doctor. X-rays we’re normal. Ultrasound showed some inflammation. 7 weeks out from the onset, I'm at a loss. I've done EVERYTHING you can think of. Threw the kitchen sink at it from day one. Every conservative care measure and hocus pocus "cutting edge" technology stupid conning doctors threw at me. Nothing. At about 5 weeks, I had an MRI done. The MRI was unremarkable, so there is now officially no explanation for this pain. It "healed". Just incorrectly. I'm almost at 2 months and at my wits end and if it doesn't heal in another month, I'll need another surgery. I'm so tired of the money pit of conservative care that doesn't work even 1% for people like me. I see people have an open fracture with a bone sticking out of their leg and recover in 12 weeks. I can't heal a ligament the size of a fingernail.
I wish doctors would stop blowing smoke up my ass. Not only do I hate my own body, I generally dislike the human body. Sure it's a miracle in some ways, but when I see a video of a Great White shark that got its back sliced open by a propellor and see it make a full recovery with new cartilage a week later, I feel so insignificant and pathetic. After 200,000 years our bodies still haven't evolved to repair collagen like tendon, ligaments, and cartilage the same way we repair muscle and bone and we can't do it even with modern medicine.
Every video I've watched on this injury I have the comments are littered with people going "did you heal? I'm 6-12 months out and not healing", people just begging for answers from strangers that they're not getting from their doctor and they just don't heal. I'm starting to have feelings of strong dislike for my body for its inability to do its job with very simple injuries.

i (21f) was recently having a conversation with a friend D (also 21f) about our mutual friend K (22m), who we have known for several months now.
i was telling her about the dynamic between K and i, to which she said it sounds like K might like me as more than a friend, and was curious as to what others thought.
for added context, I have a closer friendship with K due to being more free to hang out and willing to spend time with him more than D. K is from Norway and will be leaving the country I live in in early July of this year to return back home.
now here are the things she said that made it seem like he might think of me as more than a friend.
for starters, he often lets me stay over at his place to sleep during the day if I get exhausted after work, as his residence is closer to my workplace than mine is. I'll go over there and sleep for a couple hours, then wake up and chill for a few more before going home.
this is where the "more than friends" things begin to come into play. he will ask me to wrestle with him (which I have a couple times and lost incredibly quickly due to our size difference, with him being 6'1 and I being 5'3) or he'll pick me up throw me around, often onto his bed while teasing me to eat more because I'm supposedly "light" in weight. whenever we do "fight" he likes to pin my legs and knees and tease me about how i won't be able to escape.
if I'm lying down on my stomach or back on his bed, he will occasionally just come over and collapse on top of me, explaining how he's bored and wants to be entertained. when I complain he's like a heavy weighted blanket, he'll laugh and tell me to deal with it as he scrolls on his phone, and we'll stay like like for like a half hour or so. whenever I tried to move to make myself more comfortable, he would grab my legs with his hands to stop me from moving so much.
the most recent thing he did was a couple days ago, when I was sitting up against his headboard. he climbed onto the bed without saying a word, grabbed a pillow, put it against my legs and leaned back on it, essentially using me as a chair of sorts with the pillow as a barrier between us. after about five minutes of this, he complained that his neck was tired and rested it back on my collarbone (? english isn't my first language, so bear with me) as he continued to scroll through his phone. occasionally he'd turn back his head to look at me and show me something, and his face would be so close with his hair tickling my neck, which would make me panic internally of sorts.
he's also said a couple times about how I need a boyfriend to keep me warm (as I get cold easily), his preferences and types (although it never goes anything above PG) and teases me for being "innocent" due to being inexperienced when it comes to dating and relationships. we also tend to tease each other a lot, and he has no problem in taking off his shirt and changing in front of me, often bragging to me about how he has "abs".
there's also been a few instances where we've been with friends and i've gotten intoxicated and he's let me use him as a pillow of sorts. apparently every time I would wake up, he would pat my hair and shush me to go back to sleep and would pretty much take care of me for most of the night until it was time for me to head home.
we tend to also message each other very often throughout the day, and call for hours on end several times a week. But then I noticed that the gutter was about the same size as the wheels on my skateboard. And that's when it hit me: if I were to accidentally ride into that gutter, my wheels could get stuck and send me flying off my board. So please, be careful out there on the road. I just had the most insane fucking nightmare that I woke up from with the most intense dread and fear with my heart pounding. The worst part about it was how real it felt while still feeling incredibly absurd and alien. It was also super quick. I think all those factors culminated in one of the freakiest dreams I've ever had.
Anyway, I was either working at, or just finishing a shift at my old McDonalds when my sister came to either pick me up or hang out or something, and we were just sitting at a table shooting the shit. Eventually the conversation shifts to a memory she had of seeing something in the old house we used to live in the night before we moved out for good. Even just typing that sent shivers down my legs. I mentioned how her bringing it up reminded me of the memory and how fucking scary it was and she was like, "yeah, and if I told this to anyone else they would think I was insane" and I was like no, I understand what you mean, it was fucked up.
As we discussed the memory, I was transported back to the scene. It was the last house we ever lived in (our parents live in a condo now), and because all our beds were packed up, we were sleeping on an air mattress in the basement. It was pitch black down there, and we were both woken up by the sounds of bumping in the little sump pump room. My "night vision" had kicked in by the time we went to go open the door, because we thought our dog might have somehow trapped himself in there. But before we could fully open it, this fucking creature burst out. It didn't even hit the door, just slinked out through the small crack that had been made by the barely opened door.
It was about child-sized, standing upright on two stubby yet lanky legs missing feet, with a body that was less a human's and more a centipede's, but with only two segments. It had two more pairs of the same stubby legs going up the sides of its body, and didn't have a head, but yet another pair on top of its body, so that if it flipped over it would look identical. It charged at us once out of the door, and it was blurry yet very visible in the dark if that makes sense; I think its skin colour was a pale yellow. I said it charged because it moved fast but really it moved super awkwardly, the best way I can describe it is how a centipede might move if it stood on only two legs. Anyway we fucking ran out of the house and into the driveway. Our parents weren't home.
We were back in the McDonalds and talking about how scary that was, and somehow both concluded that it was called "Yellow Hands".
Now the scariest part for me now that I'm awake and recording this nightmare, is the fact we only saw one, yet dubbed it "Yellow Hands" plural. It also had no hands. So my imagination is now taking over and wondering if this wasn't just one giant hand of an even more fucked up, enormous creature that was emerging from the closet. I genuinely don't know what is scarier, the concept of it just being an absurd creature or a giant monster, but fuck, that dream was scary and I'm having to write it out right now so I can remind myself it wasn't real.
The creature kind of reminds me of something from Gemini Home Entertainment, and the "memory" scene felt like something out of Skinamarink if that makes any sense. Just one of the most abstract, fucking scariest dreams I've ever had. The fact I'm still reeling from it while typing this out, Jesus Christ. I keep getting shivers from typing it out and rereading it.
I'm going to draw it, and then will probably have to watch an episode of Seinfeld or something to get back to sleep. My poor wife, I had to turn my lamp on after I woke up because I was convinced there was one of those things in the dark bedroom, despite this being a completely different house in a different city. I'm gonna be tired AF in the morning from the sleep lost from this event, and might even have a laugh about how silly I was being, but Holy shit, that was scary and I'm still feeling it like 30 minutes after waking up.

It had two more pairs of the same stubby legs going up the sides of its body, and didn't have a head, but yet another pair on top of its body, so that if it flipped over it would look identical. It charged at us once out of the door, and it was blurry yet very visible in the dark if that makes sense; I think its skin colour was a pale yellow. I said it charged because it moved fast but really it moved super awkwardly, the best way I can describe it is how a centipede might move if it stood on only two legs. Anyway we fucking ran out of the house and into the driveway. Our parents weren't home.
We were back in the McDonalds and talking about how scary that was, and somehow both concluded that it was called "Yellow Hands".
Now the scariest part for me now that I'm awake and recording this nightmare, is the fact we only saw one, yet dubbed it "Yellow Hands" plural. It also had no hands. So my imagination is now taking over and wondering if this wasn't just one giant hand of an even more fucked up, enormous creature that was emerging from the closet. I genuinely don't know what is scarier, the concept of it just being an absurd creature or a giant monster, but fuck, that dream was scary and I'm having to write it out right now so I can remind myself it wasn't real.
The creature kind of reminds me of something from Gemini Home Entertainment, and the "memory" scene felt like something out of Skinamarink if that makes any sense. Just one of the most abstract, fucking scariest dreams I've ever had. The fact I'm still reeling from it while typing this out, Jesus Christ. I keep getting shivers from typing it out and rereading it.
I'm going to draw it, and then will probably have to watch an episode of Seinfeld or something to get back to sleep. My poor wife, I had to turn my lamp on after I woke up because I was convinced there was one of those things in the dark bedroom, despite this being a completely different house in a different city. I'm gonna be tired AF in the morning from the sleep lost from this event, and might even have a laugh about how silly I was being, but Holy shit, that was scary and I'm still feeling it like 30 minutes after waking up.

I have a very weird problem with the rear brakes in my my car (X3 F25).
This has happened a few times this month. When slowing down by applying brakes and then releasing it, both rear brakes do not seem to release. I press the gas pedal and the car is very sluggish/hesitant to move, lifting off the gas pedal makes the car stop. I move the car facing downwards on an incline and then put it to neutral and disengage the parking brake and remove foot from the brake, the car does not move. Both rear wheels become very hot (compared to the front) after driving for a few meters.
If I pump the brakes very hard a few times it suddenly releases and car drives normal for the rest of the day.
Details about the car:
Could it be a clogged return port in the master cylinder (assuming the MC has separate ports for both front and rear) Can old/contaminated brake fluid cause this? If it's a problem with the DSC, won't it throw any codes?

- Has around 60K miles
- Previous owner has record of changing brake fluid 20 months ago
- Scanned car with ISTA+, has no codes related to brakes, DSC, ABS, etc.
- Parking brake functions properly, can hear it locking and unlocking when pressing/releasing the electronic button
- I replaced the car battery a month back and coded + registered it with BimmerLink and has no error codes related to battery when scanned
- When this happens, the brake pedal does not feel spongy or hard, it feels normal
- All tires on the car are the same size and brand and has specified air pressure. The fronts do seem to have a little more wear than the rears

I think, though, this debate wouldn’t exist if Lore Olympus hadn’t initially depicted Persephone as plus sized, particularly with stretch marks and such. I don’t think anyone would’ve cared if Persephone started out with the body type she’s drawn with now (“slim thick” for lack of a better term.) The problem is that Rachel Smythe was attempting to get “brownie points” by lazily retconning Persephone’s initial petite body type (Hades’ “you’re petite like Hera”) and just as quickly retconning any indication that Persephone is plus sized at all, through the art itself alone. It’s disingenuous, as most of Rachel’s decisions with this comic are, and I’m really tired of how Persephone is still considered plus sized representation when her appearance in the latest season shows her with an incredibly small waist and flat stomach. All this to say, I think that Rachel shouldn’t have retconned Persephone’s initial body type in order to half-assedly appeal to and essentially lead on the audience by pretending to make her plus sized when she never cared to do that anyway. No one would’ve said anything if she hadn’t, once again, retconned something in the comic three times over.

I recently bought some 1460 Nappa boots and they are quite excellent straight out of the box. My only issue is the sole of the boot seems quite hard and has what feels like no cushion to them, and the bottom of my heel gets a bit sore/tired after 4-5 hours? Is this a breaking in thing? I'm using the Dr Martens insole to make a "half size".

Hello esteemed MG Modders and the like!
After being inspired by a few other mods, I wanted to take a crack at adding playable 3d models into the game. So far, I have successfully backed up my files, unpacked all my files (to the best of my knowledge), ran them through the mass texture converter, installed unity, fmdl studio, & 3ds max, grabbed the 3d model I wanted to use, and converted an extra ishmael to FBX. My plan was to rip ishmael's bones off of him, and throw them onto another model, and throw those files onto a playable character so I can switch into it with infinite heaven.
so far, there's a few things that confuse me and then a few things I might not know entirely. After putting the skeleton in the model, and attaching it,there is still no weight information on the model- so either I have to find a way to transfer the bones previous settings, or make... new ones? ( I was able to find weight information, albeit it still doesnt really look right) Already it seems like what I don't know WILL hurt me. I also am not sure about separating the model into the appropriate meshes, in order for the game to handle the 32 bone limit per mesh. Is this accomplished in unity by applying ishmael's (or whoever's) foxmodels to the new model? Or is assigning the mesh groups a job done first in max and then solidified in Unity. I also am not sure if I am normalizing the scaling in 3ds correctly, I set it to feet? However I am not sure my model is in the correct position (I read it could be on the wrong axis?) although with ishmael as a reference my model seems to be the correct size.
those are the things I believe I don't know entirely, and on the other end, there is still the matter of locating the correct file to drop this into, and packaging it up correctly. I have been working on this for a few days, so I figured it was about time I ask for some advice. All the mods for MGSV have been really fun, and if I am able to add to that chaos it would be awesome! So thanks to all for the inspo.
edit: after becoming frustrated with the skinned model not moving with the bones, I tired adding bounding boxes to the model, which it also doesn't do correctly. And after all this I try to export what I have (not that it should work but more of a proof of pipeline if I can actually get a file from TPP all the way back to TPP) and it says the Root object isn't found (the bones are Ishmael's, and the root object did copy). If there's any info for this, I would absolutely love to keeping cracking at this!

I’d heard enough. I thanked her for her time, and then reached into my purse and pulled out the little pistol I always carry. I laid it on the table as I stood, and then used my hand to mimic shooting myself in the head as I left the classroom. By the time I’d made it to the side door, I heard the shot resonate through the halls.
I was beside myself as I drove home, savoring everything I’d just been told. Little Elli was coming of age. I can’t wait to tell her father—he’ll be so proud.
