She also hangs out with people , who have a crush on her… Going out to mountains , having lunch with them , shopping….
I said I’m not comfortable when she does that , but she says I have said to them , you are my bf and they know everything about it. But still those people gifts her stuffs and take her out…
I even do not know her address as we are long distance. Each time I ask her address to buy her some gifts , she says keep it with me and she’ll take it when she see me.
We planned to move in and we suggested if we didn’t get placed any where south india , I would come join in your work place and live in. But as we were not getting any offer , she said to me don’t come to Kolkata as her parents would know it… There is no way her parents would know we are living together , and yet she says that.
We only meet for few days in a year and now as she working late , it’s difficult to talk to her too. She do call me almost every day but the conversations are dry. And she hangs out with a guy mostly nowadays , whom I’m not particularly fond off. As he is gifting my gf flowers and taking her out late at night for shopping and hanging out with her 3-4 days per week.
She says he is her bestie now and he knows about us very well and he is not into her. But I think he is very much into her.

In this case, a white guy opening up a restaurant with a clear Mexican theme: tacos and margaritas (among other native and Americanized classics). What I do take issue with is when said entrepreneurs take a food concept that is known for its accessibility, in that it’s typically modestly priced when executed by the people from the culture it originates, and puts it on a rooftop and charges 3x more than it really should be. Yes, I know people are paying for ambiance, and the location can’t be cheap, but: $13 chips and guac. $12 margaritas that can’t amount to more than 10oz of actual liquid. $6 tacos that are frankly quite simple in execution and ingredients. During my visit to this popular downtown spot, the second of it’s kind (first is in PDX), I sensed what was confirmed after I left and did a little googling. Carlita’s is not owned by a woman named Carlita, nor is it owned by someone with a mom named Carlita. It’s owned by Mark Byrum, a Springfield native whose interest and successful ventures in the restaurant industry in PDX brought him back to this area to open this “concept”, inspired by “a friend in Ohio”, and you know, “using the Mexican influence”, but also Whisky, because of consciousness around “What’s hot” and “trending”. The Carlita’s vibe was all of that before I looked any of this up. Of course, this is nothing new. I’m just disappointed around the hot trend of people like this taking traditionally accessible and inexpensive food and “elevating” (literally - roof top) it to the point of exclusivity (price). It's important to me that you're an active listener; what I mean is that you'll make an effort to listen to what I have to say and respond to it accordingly. I'm not looking for you to worship the ground I walk on, but being told "You look beautiful" or "When you do xyz, that makes me really happy" makes me feel SO seen and appreciated.
It's incredibly frustrating to send a picture of myself and get a lukewarm response in return. :(
Affection is also super important to me. Holding hands, hugging, kissing, cuddling, touching... all the cute couple shit. I want you to touch me, not in a pervy way, but in an affectionate way. I want to stroke your hair while I hold you close... little things like that make me incredibly happy.
Keep in mind, everything I want from you, I'll give to you in return. I'll always listen and acknowledge you, give you compliments, shower you in affection, plus whatever else makes you feel wanted and appreciated as a person and in a relationship.
● OUR DYNAMIC ●
I always want you to have a choice and be able to voice your opinion. I will never degrade or boss you around in general, but especially when it comes to your personal choices. I'm physical and verbally abused by my parents, yesterday I was beat up with a belt, broom stick, punches, stepped on, kicked and when I couldnt move anymore and begged for forgiveness I was dragged by my hair while on the floor barely able to move.
My father abandoned my family when I was 9 years old to have other women in his life and spend his money there, leaving me and my mom/siblings with no money to survive which lead us to a shelter. We were kicked out of there eventually, and then stayed at my mom's parents house where we were verbally abused, my mom would look herself in the basement the whole entire day so she wouldnt hear how her husband just abandoned her and her kids and we werent able to budget for groceries etc. They treated us like slaves, but it was better then living in the shelter. But, my life took a more bigger turn for the worst.
My mom announced that someone will help us, fly back to my father. I knew this was a bad idea, I was around 12 back then. When we arrived to him, he was smoking, the house wasn't cleaned, no fridge or stove, cockroaches and insects. The first day we all slept on the ground using stuff around to make a surface to sleep on cause their were no beds. Which worked out at the end, my dad continued to cheat on my mother while we were there, they argued but she always ended up staying. We went days without food, and I shopliftted a few items from a small shop for my siblings they were 6 and 7 just to feed them cause my parents didnt care, they just kept saying "they had no money, and to go feed ourselves". I found out my father was sending money to a woman overseas and it hurt the most to see us struggling to eat while he sends money for flowers and chocolates. My mom started to get verbally and physically abused by him which I defended her and the abuse transitioned to me, and my mom stood there doing nothing while I was begging her to help while getting beat up and chocked by my own father.
I started getting verbally and physically abused by my parents not only father but now my mother. My mom taking her anger on me because of my father (he doesnt hit her anymore) and my father treating me like nothing, I started to get abused both ways, when my father gets home its beating, my mom is mad its time to beat me up. Slaps, punches, verbal abuse if I spilled a bit of water on the floor.
I lock my siblings in a room so they dont see what I have to go through and I dont want them to ever defend me cause I know they will be the next target if it isnt me. They can beat me, kick me, drag me, suffocate me, step on me all they want but, they wont place a finger on my siblings until the day I die.
I have bruises all over my body, scratches, bruised eye. I'm ashmed of going out, I'm ugly and nobody would want me. Years like that and until now, yesterday I was beat up, chocked, suffocated, stepped on, punched, until I couldn't move. I kept begging and begging kissing their feet to let me go but they continued to beat me up, my mom chocked me that I wasnt able to breathe any much longer. At the end, I wasnt able to move and they dragged me by my hair while I was laying unable to move on the floor bleeding.
I want to live for my siblings but I dont know how much longer I can take.

My work is participating in a pride parade in Columbus Ohio in the next couple of weeks and I’m considering carrying while I’m there. Yes it will be concealed.
Normally I wouldn’t worry but a few months ago there where armed white supremacist in downtown Columbus so I’m thinking better safe than sorry.
Am I overthinking this? Is it worth losing my job if my shirt rides up and someone sees it or worse case if I have to use it?
