2023.06.06 14:23 USCG-USN-Coastiedad Already rated 70% mental health(GAD) since 2016. Filed for increase on 11/4/22, had two C&P Exams, 1st exam was to confirm my GAD (but also added MDD), 2nd exam (PTSD) stated no to PTSD but diagnosis me w/OCD w/paranoid traits. Just wondering if the VA will consider all mental health findings?

Would like to get some opinions please, with regards to my mental health claim. I'm already S/C for GAD since 2016. Filed for an increase on 11/3/22, since then I have had two C & P Exams. My first C&P for increase was done on 11/11/22, to confirm my GAD, but also the C&P doctor added MDD. My second C&P exam for PTSD exam was done on 5/3/23, but Dr stated no to PTSD and diagnosis me w/OCD w/paranoid traits. Again, my original C&P Exam was done back in 2016, and had block 4A. as Occupational and Social Impairment with occasional decrease in work (30% block) but the VA rated 70% for mental health. Now my new C&P exams have increased my symptoms as well as block 4A. to Occupational and Social Impairment with deficiencies in most areas. Also I got my C-file and my GAD is confirmed as static since 2016. I am currently rated at an overall rating of 90% (have other S/C issues besides mental health). I'm just wondering if the VA will increase my mental health rating. I have attached all my C&P exams from 2016 (original), 2022 (increase) 2023 (increase), both 2022 and 2023 exams are still pending with the VA. Any thoughts and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. As of today my claim is now 215 days old, which seems like a long wait for an increase.

Hi I'll just jump right in, there's this lady, let's call her Patrice, who lives in the same townhouse community as my grandmother does. I've never actually met her but I could tell you her life story with how much my grandma talks about her. My grandma moved here after my grandpa died in 2016 and my grandmother has been looking for stuff to fill the void. Patrice got her hooked on vaping, and the vaping led to cigarettes. Patrice also takes her out drinking every couple of nights and they always come back home shit faced with no DD. My grandmother's sodium levels have been really bad and her doctor says it's because of her drinking but yet Patrice still continues to take her out. My grandma has been having a lot of problems walking now because of her sodium levels.
My grandma is literally killing herself because she hangs out with Patrice. I even moved from Maryland to NC to move in with her just so I can try and keep her in better health and give her better alternativa then hanging out getting shit faced with Patrice.
We've told her how much we care about her and hate seeing her vaping, smoking, and drinking the rest of her life away but she's addicted and doesn't seem to care enough to try and quit.
I hate coming home from work to find her and Patrice went out partying and now I have to take care of drunk grandma for the rest of the night.
What do you think I could do reddit? I'm open to anything.

2023.06.06 14:15 Familiar_Work1414 Company is selling my division, I have to make a choice, but which one?

Long story short, my company, that I just joined 3 months ago, is selling the division I work for. I was warned ahead of time this could happen, so it's not a surprise. I have been given a choice to make though in if I go with the sale or if they find another place for me within the current company.
My dilemma is that my background is in an area that I didn't really love. I took this opportunity in the new role to transition out of the previous area I worked in for 5 years. I am almost certain if I choose to not go with the sale, I'll be put into my old field/background area as my company is hiring for a lot of those roles and they're somewhat niche. I also have no idea what role they'll put me in if I go with the sale, but I do interact on a daily basis with SVPs and VPs, so I feel like there might be better growth opportunities. The other question about the new company is if they'll make us relocate, which I absolutely don't want to do because we just purchased a home.
Do I risk it and move to the new company or do I play it safe and stay with the company and likely get put into a somewhat mundane role again?

While this is not a finished but a full 100% in progress game, We would love to invite you to witness all the fancy technical bits and pieces and maybe even add feature requests to give us some nice ideas. After all the recent years what I see on sales makes me somehow dissapointed, so for that reason we are here and our end goal is to release a game with the best features taken out of the best games possible.
No ETA on release, no shitty "stylised graphics", no excuses, ONLY AAA GRAPHICS, it is getting done no matter the time or cost.
