2023.06.06 00:27 Photoelectric_Effect [WTS][USA] Sailor PGS "Manyo - Willow" and "Fika Hallongrotta" , Pilot Decimo LE "Brown", Opus 88 Fantasia Black, Parker 51 Aerometric Demi teal ~ Notebooks ~ Inks
I've collected too many Capless pens for the different custom grinds in various colors of the rainbow, as I'm a big fan of the pens. Gradually deciding on the colors to let go. This Brown is a cool slightly red-leaning brown, toward dark chocolate. The finish of the 20 Colors series is brushed anodized aluminum, unlike the standard glossy lacquer typical for Pilot Capless pens. The finish feels dry and satiny to touch.❀ Sailor Pro Gear Slim "Manyo" series "Willow" colorway fountain pen with 14K MF nib [A2]
Inked a couple times, in mint condition. Will come with a Pilot gift box, CON-40 converter, and metal cartridge cap, and a pack of cartridge refills.
Nib is a rhodium-plated 18K gold Fine.

Photo album❀ Sailor Pro Gear Slim "World Tea Time / Fika Hallongrotta" fountain pen with 14K MF nib [B]
- Excellent condition. Comes with original gift box, white/silver converter, and a 50ml bottle of Sailor Manyo ink. Originally the pen was bundled with Sailor Manyo "Nekoyonagi" ink, but I don't have that ink anymore, and it was much too pale when used with this pen. I'm including a powdery grayed blurple "Kakitsubata" instead, which is nicely legible with this nib.- milky pastel grayed lavender with a glossy finish and translucent aqua cyan finials. Rhodium-plated hardware. Silver flower finial design on matching lavender.
$190 + shipping
- Excellent condition. I've inked this pen a few times, so rating it as a B. Comes with original gift box and converter.❀ OPUS 88 Fantasia fountain pen in Black colorway with EF and 1.4mm stub nibs [A2]
- transparent red barrel with very fine glass shimmer. Milky-red translucent cap with shimmer. Translucent brown section with no shimmer. Solid color old-engraving style nib. Red-filled finial decoration.
$157 + shipping
- Excellent condition, only inked a couple of times then kept in a box. Comes with original box, glass eyedropper pipette, and 2 nib units: unused 1.4mm stub and a used EF nib unit. The EF nib unit housing has some scratches around the edges, as I tried fitting a vintage nib in its place unsuccessfully, so I slotted the original EF back, and it works perfectly.❀ Parker 51 "Demi" Aerometric fountain pen with lustroloy cap and medium-ish nib, Teal [C]
- Ebonite cap and piston plunger handle, acrylic barrel. Japanese eyedropper style with shut-off valve.
$100 + shipping
- This is a smaller "Demi" size of standard Parker 51. Gold nib.
- Engraving over the section band says "Made in USA 51"
- Perfect operation, clean, the original pli-glass sac is in great condition. Microscratches all over due to age and use.

I purchased these three journals during the transition period from the "old" Tomoegawa machine #7 to the "new" Tomoegawa machine #9 production, hoping to catch the old stock paper. Upon testing the paper recently, I verified that the notebooks contain the "new" Tomoe River paper.
A5, 384 pages, 7x7mm light bluish gray grid with a thin white border around each page. Lay-flat binding. 2 have a slate blue cover and one is an olive green cover. I tested one of the blue journals and the olive one, to confirm the paper in each. The testing was done discretely on the 3rd page from the end in the bottom inner corner, as follows: https://i.imgur.com/65DGAFl.jpg
Selling here at less than half of what I paid per journal from Japan: $20 per each.

![]() | Hello, I have this big huge workhorse printer that has been gathering dust for a while. An aquaintance got it at a surplus auction because they recognized it as the same kind of printer their office used and knew they could sticky fingers their way into never having to buy ink again. They moved to an apartment and didn't have room for it anymore, so I got it, and I've had it for a few years--long enough to decide, I really just don't print things often enough for it to be worth having such a high volume printer around. It still turns on and still has half an ink cartridge. It's supposed to work off wifi but I've never tried; I just use the USB printer cord. You can download the driver for it from the HP website. submitted by twitcherpated to SacramentoBuyNothing [link] [comments] I live near Hagginwood Park, pickup only. |

2023.06.04 11:28 TheSilverSmith47 I'm currently relocating the electronics on my Ender 3 Pro. Giving and requesting advice.
![]() | A while back, I posted about relocating the electronics on my Ender 3 Pro so that the mainboard doesn't fry when I stick my printer into a heated chamber. I got some very helpful advice, and it is much appreciated. After gathering all the necessary materials, I've finally moved on to actually performing the relocation, and this is where I am so far. I thought I'd make a post so as to share what I've learned and so as to ask for advice. submitted by TheSilverSmith47 to 3Dprinting [link] [comments] AIO electronics enclosure At the moment, all of the electronic components are now in the AIO enclosure. I still need to get more M3 screws for the panels, get some screws to mount the 120mm fan, and extend the wires so that they can reach the electronics from outside of my chamber. My current method of extending the wires consists of removing the male JST-XH wire-to-board connectors from the printer wires, replacing them with male JST-SM wire-to-wire connectors via crimping, cutting a piece of wire of similar gauges, crimping a female JST-SM connector to one end of the wire, and then crimping a male JST-XH connector to the wire. The result is a modular extension cable that can be replaced with a longer or shorter one if necessary in the future. Male JST-XH wire-to-board connector Male JST-SM wire-to-wire connector (left) and female JST-SM connector (right) While crimping the connectors to the wires, it occurred to me that I'd need to also extend the wires for the nozzle heater and the bed heater. The wires for these two components are noticeably thicker than the wires for the other components. The bed heater wires are listed as being 2x1.5 sqmm, which is approximately 14 AWG, and the nozzle heater is approximately 16 AWG or 18 AWG. I could be wrong on these because I pretty much eyeballed the thicknesses. This led me to consider the current draw for these components. From what I can tell, the stock Ender 3 Pro bed heater is rated at 220 Watts and 24 Volts. Using P=I*V, I determined that the bed heater could draw up to 9.17 Amps. This far exceeds the JST-SM connector's rating of 3 Amps. It doesn't help that the SM connectors I bought from Amazon are Chinese knockoffs, so they may not even be able to handle 3 Amps. Admittedly, the 3 Amp rating is for 22 AWG, but I'm pretty sure the SM connector won't be able to handle 9 Amps even with a 14 AWG wire. Based on this, I needed to find a more suitable connector. Factory bed heater for the Ender 3 Pro with power and voltage on the top right corner Based on the 40 Watt 24 Volt rating of the nozzle heater cartridge, I assume that the heater cartridge pulls 1.67 Amps, which should be well within the range of even a Chinese knockoff of a JST-SM connector. So, I decided to leave the SM connector on the heater cartridge. I went on JST's and Molex's websites to search for an adequate connector. JST has some ok offerings, but these connectors are far too clunky in my opinion. I did some searching, and apparently Molex's Mini-Fit Jr. are pretty popular on Amazon. But reading their Technical Data Sheet revealed a maximum current rating of 9 Amps for 16 AWG. That's cutting it too close, and I wanted some headroom for future upgrades. I decided that 10 Amps would be the absolute minimum, and 15 Amps and above would be preferable. Molex's offerings are pretty good, especially since the form factor of their connectors look less cumbersome to me. I was stuck choosing between their Molex Sabre and Molex Micro-Fit Plus connectors. I ultimately chose the Molex Sabre connectors due to their higher current rating of 18 Amps compared to the Micro-Fit Plus' 13 Amps. They're sized and priced similarly enough, so I figured I might as well go for the higher amperage connector. Sourcing the connector housings and connector terminals was interesting. Buying directly from Molex requires purchasing in bulk, which is priced in the hundreds or thousands. Thankfully, Digikey and Mouser offer loose pieces and cut reels of terminals, significantly reducing the overall price. I also went looking for a crimping tool, but official crimpers for the Molex Sabre are absurdly expensive. I ended up just getting a cheap universal IWISS crimper that in theory should work for any small connector. So yeah, that's where I'm at right now. I'm just waiting for parts to come in so that I can finish up my wiring. Hopefully this is helpful to anyone else delving into 3d printer modification. I do also have some questions. First of all, is my reasoning above logical? Am I right to be concerned of the current rating of connectors? Also, to those who have experience with electronics, what procedure should I go through to check the quality of my modifications? What step-by-step process can I go through before turning on my modified printer so that my electronics don't release the magic smoke? I noticed on the terminal blocks on the 4.2.2 Creality board that the end of the wires tended to be tinned with solder so as to make them solid. Since I'll now be placing wire extensions into the terminal blocks, do the ends of the wire extensions also need to be tinned? Will leaving them as normal wires affect anything or make my printer less safe? Will the wire extensions and additional connectors increase resistance by any substantial amount so as to noticeably reduce the effectiveness of my motors, heaters, and thermistors? I'm pretty stupid when it comes to electronics. I don't want to wake up one morning to find my printer and house on fire from faulty wiring. Thanks in advance. |
