Review:
NeverAwake is a 2-Stick Shooter released on PC in 2022 and ported to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in 2023. In this game, players take the role of Rem, a hooded character who seems to be an avatar of sorts for a girl stuck in a coma, who must fend off monsters based on the girl’s unconscious fears and dislikes.
This makes for some fairly original level design and enemy design. The entire first series of levels, for example, is based on the girl’s hatred for vegetables, and you find yourself fighting monstrous wasabi mustard and eggplant enemies. This is all done with detailed hand-drawn 2D artwork, with your own character rendered in 3D. This is all backed by an energetic synthesized soundtrack that’s not especially memorable, but works well enough for the game.
It’s not just the theming that’s creative and original here. NeverAwake works off of an interesting gameplay gimmick - players are not trying to survive to the end of a level or defeat enemies. Rather, they must collect “souls” of defeated enemies, and will contend with an infinitely-looping level until they reach a specific threshold. Making things more interesting, each new loop of a level adds additional elements to ramp up the difficulty, so you’re trying to complete levels as quickly as possible not only to get a good time, but also for your own survival.
In addition, the game also has equippable upgrades, though these only unlock after completing corresponding levels, meaning you won’t be grinding to power up your character by repeating levels. Beyond this, the core gameplay has pretty standard 2-stick attack, dodge, and bomb/crash moves.
While I found the looping level element to be inspired, I felt that otherwise the gameplay here was pretty typical for the genre. Not bad, not outstanding, but overall good. NeverAwake is, after all is said and done, a solid 2-Stick Shooter with an interesting presentation and a creative goal structure. If you’re a fan of the genre, this one will be well worth picking up, but I don’t think this is a game that is truly transformative for the genre.
tl;dr – NeverAwake is a 2-Stick Shooter where players fight the imagined enemies within a girl’s subconscious. The theming here is really inspired, as is the game’s goal structures that sees levels repeat until you can collect enough “souls”. However, beyond these creative elements, NeverAwake is just a solid 2-Stick Shooter, and not a must-play one. If you enjoy this genre, this is one to get.

I'm looking for a laptop for about 1500 USD (it's estimated as I'm from europe). I would like to use it mainly for programming (including windows drivers) as well as cybersecurity stuff which often requires running multiple VMs and works well on high power CPU (H, HS series) and at least 16 GB of RAM.
The things that are important to me: - Display Mat display anything from 14 to 16 inch. Any Hz, any resolution - Battery Battery should last at least 5 hours when doing light tasks like browseword - RAM, CPU, GPU RAM at least 16 GB, high power CPU (h/hs) from Intel or AMD. Preferably no GPU or something not power consuming. - Noise I would love to run mostly silent when on battery and doing light tasks. And oh god avoid models known for coil whine - Camera, build Camera present and placed in normal place no nose cam, weight 2.2 kg at most
I was already looking at: - Huawei Matebook 16 (5800h) but it has glossy screen and nose cam. - Asus zenbook (5800h) looks promising but it also has glossy OLED screen. - Vivobook s16x (6800h, mat IPS) looked very promising but it has heat concerns as well as many bad reviews regarding coil whine and other hardware problems in my country. - Dell inspiron 7620, pricy for a budget line and has known problems with touchpad...
I have also tested: - Asus TUF A16 Advantage (7735 HS + RX7600S), which is not that bad (good battery life and weight for gaming laptop) but coil whine is killing me - Rog Zephyrus M16 (i7 11800H + RTX3060) which could run 2-3h on battery using only Word (lol) and camera quality was like a potato
Question: Do you have any other recommendations that match my expectations? Any other models that I can try?
I was looking at new latitude 5531 with i7 12800h, but could not find many reviews regarding battery life or noise. And it goes for 1700 USD for just CPU, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD.

Hey guys i got an 05 ram 1500 5.7 any ways i notice tonight that on smooth surfaces i could feel like fast vibrations like if u were to hit a small tiny bump or small little imperfections on the road like the little ripples, but a whole bunch of them going about 30 to 40mph. Ive replaced the cv axles and stubb shafts ive replaced all four shocks ball joints and tie rod ends are all good the only thing i can think of is bad lower control arm bushings cuz they are bad. It feels like going over teeny tiny lil bumps or imperfections but going at about 30-40 mph doesnt feel like tire balance issue and no vibrations in the steering wheel or at my feet. Thats the best i can describe it not like going painful or jolting but jus like maybe the feeling if bad rotors when brake thats the bumpiness. But not pressing the brakes. Will bad lower control arm bushings cause that like a ripple affect vibration?

Hello again everyone.
I own a 2013 RAM 4.7 Lonestar with the 6 speed automatic. I have been battling an issue with hesitation for a while that i thought was transmission but now i’m thinking it’s not.
At slow acceleration with light gas, the truck will shift through the gears ok ish but it will randomly pause during the middle of a shift with my foot off the gas and then quickly finish said shift. I have also noticed that there is tons of shuddering/hesitation (RPMs jumping up and down probably around 100-150rpm) while accelerating slowly through 4th and 5th gears. When the truck is floored, sometimes it gets up and goes, other times it sits there for a bit, gets to around 2500rpm, and then starts to get up and go. Feels like you’re battling head on winds.
On times where it’s launches fine, it bucks slightly throughout 1st gear, shifts to 2nd, and then as soon as it hits 4K RPM it feels like you let off the gas even though the pedal is still pinned to the floor.
I thought it was transmission issues so i replaced the torque converter and the valve body which didn’t solve the issues at all. No metal in pan at all, trans fluid is at a perfect level. Last night when i tried to pass someone up, it shifted into passing gear and then i got P0300 with the check engine light flashing.
Truck has 157K, plugs have been changed, wires are original to the vehicle. Any help?

I know this will come off as contradictory to my post about the PT Cruiser being a good car, but Chrysler doesn't have any business selling cars in the U.S. Their lineup is full of 10+ year old cars (except for the Pacifica, Ram and the Jeep Wrangler, Gladiator and Grand Cherokee), and they lack features that have become expected of newer cars today. Think heads-up displays, rain-sensing wipers, automatic emergency braking, etc. Most (if not all) of Chrysler's products lack these features, even on the newest models. To make things worse for the Chrysler brand itself, it'll have only one model, the aforementioned Pacifica minivan as it announced the 300 will be gone by the end of the 2023 model year. Dodge will also have only one model as well, the Durango SUV, as the Charger and Challenger will also be gone by the end of the 2023 model year. This means that besides Jeep and Ram, buyers have a choice between a minivan (which no one buys anymore) and a 10+ year old SUV (which clearly appears outdated and hasn't been given a single update in almost 10 years either).
It seems like Chrysler is on a downhill slope and if they expect to have any real business selling cars, they need to step up their game.

OK so I need help choosing a laptop, I know this is probably the millionths similar post.
I'm going to be using it at work in my van on the go, Needs to be long battery life. Looking at 13 or 14 inch screen. I don't mind either a 2in1 convertible laptop or a traditional laptop. I do multiple stop start driving so will be using it to input data quickly at a job on excel or Google sheets, close laptop down, get to the next job, quickly input data and close it down again probably about 20-25 times a day. That's my main use for it. I would like it to be fast and responsive.
Budget around £1000 - £1500 . From what I've been researching I probably want an i7, 16gb ram and 512gb storage. I have absolutely no idea if this is overkill or not.
When not using it for work would like to still use it browse the Web and watch YouTube vids and maybe some Netflix. Maybe editing some pictures too but that's all new to me however would like the option to get into photo editing.

First: What do you think of the build?; For quality 1080p gaming, maybe 1440p in the future if I get a better monitor. Games like: Diablo 4, CP77, Hogwarts Legacy, Heavily Modded Games, Future AAA titles, some MMOs. Had a budget of around $1200-1500 in mind but was aiming for lower end of that.
Second: What Tips/Advice/Warnings/etc. do you have for me as I go into this build?; As a first time PC builder who will be starting the build next weekend with his dad for Father’s Day (My dad is a long time PC gamer and works in IT field so he has some knowledge and experience to help me with it and is excited… however it has been many, many years since has built me or himself a PC)
Context: Upgrading from my old system which I think was a i3 or i5 something and 1050 Ti that did me good for several years but hasn’t been able to run newer games at an enjoyable performance rate. Decided to go with a fresh new build for the experience of building it (especially with my dad), and in hopes of a cheaper total price, and for more customization, and yadayadayada yeah pre-builts are bad anyways I settled on this setup. Luckily I had a Microcenter nearby and got a package deal on the CPU, MOBO, & RAM. Originally I was thinking of going with a Zotec RTX 3060 OC 8GB card but swapped to the RX 6700 XT 12GB which I think was a good move as it is a big performance difference for an extra $40 and since the system is only for gaming I’m not privy to the pricier nvidia GPUs that I hear are better for “work” or other PC uses. I’m still pretty open to suggestions on the build as I could easily go back and return/swap any parts if something is really off or there is something arguably much better around the same price. Currently have all parts at home waiting to be assembled but I’m traveling for work this week plus my dad is pretty busy as well so again I plan to start by Father’s Day weekend.

In retrospect
A ship arrives and lands on Copper-9, some drones came out of it, but they weren't teardown drones, as they were wearing JCJenson uniforms.

N: When the core incident happened, they first sent an investigation team to find out what happened.

The group of “investigative drones” walked around the site examining the bodies of other wrecked drones on the ground.

Drone Researcher 1: Commando, you guys get to see this, it's a fucking massacre.

Suddenly a metallic noise is heard coming from a mound of bodies piled to one side. The drones look at each other suspiciously and approach cautiously. While one of them speaks.

Drone Investigator 2: Who's there?

N: These drones had no means of defense.

The leader of the group approaches one of the bodies and touches it, nothing happens.

N: They didn't have a chance.

A cable shoots out of the mound and through the leader's head.

What looks like a clawed hand emerges from the mound and grabs the body, then a partially formed mechanical creature rises up, legless and missing an arm, but his appearance is intimidating enough that the drones know he caused it all. this, especially when he starts laughing.

There was an awkward silence, Uzi trying to process the information she had just received, knowing that 23 groups of company-armed drones had been destroyed by that thing… it was terrifying.

V: Well, not exactly, that bastard destroyed my head and it took me a while to regenerate, when I woke up N told me that J had killed him, something that by the way turned out NOT TO BE TRUE.

N laughed nervously at V's comments.

V: Anyway, when I got there his body was lying in the snow without moving, it was very big and they had given us the order to eliminate all the drones in the area to make sure that it hadn't escaped infecting someone, we needed to stock up on oil and we couldn't leave it out in the open, just like that, so what and...
Uzi: So what?

V and N didn't respond, Uzi didn't understand the reason for this, until he realized with horror what they were referring to.
