2023.06.02 10:36 Vegetable_Bluejay_56 My son is graduating in Elementary School and I can't even attend it.
I am working far from home, and my son is living with my parents. He grew up without his biological father around since we broke up. So basically, my parents is his parents.
He will be graduating soon in July, and I just wish I can be with him. But because I already used all my vacation last December I can no longer attend during his graduation. I am heartbroken that I am far from my family, and it makes me sad most of the time not being to be with them in this kind of special events. But I need to toughen myself because I also need to provide for their needs and for their future.
I hope someday, I can attend his High School and College graduation. My family is the only reason why I keep moving, and not losing hope. I just missed them a lot.

2023.06.02 10:35 markwalker_southeast User The Benefits of Regularly Cleaning and Maintaining Your Roof - South East Roof Repairs
| Introduction: Keeping Your Roof in Tip-Top Shape Do you ever think about your roof? It's up there, protecting your home day in and day out, yet it often goes unnoticed and unappreciated. Well, it's time to change that! In this article, we'll dive into the benefits of regularly cleaning and maintaining your roof, and how South East Roof Repairs can help you keep your roof in tip-top shape. So, grab a cup of coffee, sit back, and let's explore the world above your head! Aesthetic Appeal: Enhancing the Beauty of Your Home Imagine driving up to a house with a dilapidated, moss-covered roof. Not the most inviting sight, is it? Cleaning and maintaining your roof not only keeps it in good condition but also enhances the aesthetic appeal of your entire home. A clean roof with no debris, moss, or algae instantly gives your house a fresh, well-maintained look. It's like a makeover for your home's curb appeal! Longevity: Extending the Lifespan of Your Roof Your roof is a significant investment, and you want it to last as long as possible. Regular cleaning and maintenance play a crucial role in extending the lifespan of your roof. When you remove debris, leaves, and branches, you prevent the accumulation of moisture that can lead to rotting or deterioration of your roof's materials. By taking care of your roof, you're essentially adding years to its life and saving money in the long run. https://preview.redd.it/dw4u7cm6gk3b1.jpg?width=800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=782f9a9a5bc32418943e3b26b24b79c6dc9d2160 Energy Efficiency: Lowering Your Utility Bills Did you know that a dirty roof can affect the energy efficiency of your home? When dirt, algae, or moss cover your roof, it can trap heat, making your home hotter during the summer months. This can result in increased energy consumption and higher cooling bills. By regularly cleaning your roof, you allow it to reflect sunlight instead of absorbing it, which helps keep your home cooler and reduces the strain on your air conditioning system. A cleaner roof means lower utility bills and a more comfortable living environment. Preventing Damage: Keeping the Elements at Bay Your roof acts as a shield against the elements, protecting your home from rain, wind, and sun. However, if your roof is neglected and not properly maintained, it can develop cracks, leaks, or weak spots, leaving your home vulnerable to water damage. Regular cleaning and maintenance help identify and address any issues before they become major problems. By proactively taking care of your roof, you're safeguarding your home from costly repairs caused by water infiltration. South East Roof Repairs: Your Roof's Best Friend Now that you understand the importance of cleaning and maintaining your roof let's talk about South East Roof Repairs, your roof's best friend! By addressing problems early on, you can prevent further damage and costly repairs down the line. Gutter Cleaning: Keeping Water Flowing Smoothly Clogged gutters can lead to water buildup, which can damage your roof, walls, and foundation. South East Roof Repairs offers professional gutter cleaning services, removing leaves, debris, and other blockages that can hinder the flow of water. By keeping your gutters clean, you prevent water from backing up and causing potential damage to your home. Roof Coating: Adding an Extra Layer of Protection South East Roof Repairs also provides roof coating services to add an extra layer of protection to your roof. Roof coatings act as a barrier against UV rays, moisture, and other harmful elements, extending the life of your roof. They can also improve energy efficiency by reflecting sunlight and reducing heat absorption. With a roof coating from South East Roof Repairs, you can enhance your roof's durability and save on energy costs. Maintenance Tips: DIY Steps for Roof Care While South East Roof Repairs provides professional services, there are also steps you can take to maintain your roof between their visits. Here are some simple maintenance tips: Regular Cleaning: Clearing Debris and Keeping it Clean Make it a habit to clear any debris that accumulates on your roof, such as leaves, branches, and dirt. You can use a soft-bristle broom or a leaf blower to gently remove the debris. Avoid using a pressure washer, as it can damage the roofing materials. Regular cleaning helps prevent the buildup of moisture and keeps your roof looking tidy. https://preview.redd.it/8555xtgagk3b1.jpg?width=300&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bc2b9dc9e6e26ca585f957108fd0fa67a1fc055b Inspect for Damage: Keeping an Eye Out for Issues Take the time to inspect your roof for any signs of damage, such as missing shingles, cracked tiles, or loose flashing. Look for any areas where water might be pooling or signs of leaks inside your home. If you notice any problems, it's best to call in the professionals at South East Roof Repairs to assess and fix them. Trim Surrounding Trees: Preventing Potential Hazards Overhanging tree branches can pose a risk to your roof, especially during storms. Trim any branches that are in close proximity to your roof to prevent them from scraping against the surface or causing damage during high winds. Keeping trees trimmed also reduces the amount of debris that falls onto your roof. Clean Gutters: Ensuring Proper Water Flow Regularly clean your gutters to ensure that water can flow freely and avoid backups that can lead to roof and foundation damage. Use a ladder to access your gutters and remove any leaves, twigs, and debris. If you're not comfortable doing this yourself, you can rely on the expertise of South East Roof Repairs to take care of it for you. Final Thoughts: A Healthy Roof, A Happy Home Your roof plays a vital role in protecting your home and everything inside it. 2023.06.02 10:35 ConsiderationPure742 Advice: US MBA in Australia? Profile Review: 26 Asian Australian Female, Consulting
Hi all! Really appreciate any thoughts or insights.
Overview: Worked at Monitor Deloitte (strategy consulting) for past 4 years and have had overseas project experience in Asia and Europe. Moved to the New York office and have been promoted twice ranked top of cohort in both Australia and the US. I would likely be aiming for R2 applications or R1 in 2024 as I have only just started considering the MBA route and have yet to take the GMAT / GRE.
Highlights:
- Flew alone to Europe to deliver a project for 3 months (partner stayed in Australia)
- Volunteered in Philippines to help microfinancing + building homes (many years ago - don't have any outside of work volunteering experiences in the US yet)
- Passionate about women in business / consulting: led organization of seminars in Aus and facilitated minority manager training sessions in the US
- Competed, led and placed in several international case competitions during college
- Held many high leadership positions (however this is also in college so not sure if relevant)
Why MBA: I did a 3-year undergrad business degree in Australia and would like a more holistic education. My experiences are quite narrow predominantly being in consulting and I am looking for more well rounded personal growth and to expand my network / experiences. Short term I'm looking at more operations associate roles at a PE firm (want to pivot from advice into operating). Long term I would love to have opportunities as GM / upper mgmt / c-suite ops roles in medium to large corporate companies and my hypothesis is that these qualifications are required in the US especially as a female + asian (not sure about Australia though).
Questions:
- Is my profile generic / competitive? Would I have a chance at M7, if not what improvements would be needed (e.g. more recent leadership / volunteering experience)?
- Does my rationale for an MBA make sense in the US or would I be able to achieve that outcome without it?
- Does my rationale for an MBA make sense in Aus? I am struggling to understand how valued it is there as I have heard that practical experience is more valued and I am aiming to stay in the US in the medium term (5-8 years)
Any insight / advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much.

2023.06.02 10:34 Far_Caterpillar_685 Best friend issues
So I went on a trip to Florida with my best friend and her mom. The trip was in all an OK experience. I wanted to go home more than I wanted to be there and I don’t even like being at my house often. During the whole trip I jus felt like my friend was very hot and cold by just randomly giving attitude for no reason. At times I would catch myself mimicking her behavior or giving her the same energy and she would be offended and get upset with me. For example she always talks bad about people when she’s right next to them when she doesn’t even know the person. I wasn’t even trying to do so but she said out loud that there was the smell of seafood and I said gross because it smelt strong. I didn’t even realize that the people eating while we walked by were the ones who had the seafood. she immediately called me out saying i shouldn’t have said that and I retaliated saying that she always talks about about ppl in front of them and I didn’t even know they were the ones eating seafood. Next scenario I forget how the conversation got brought up but earlier in the day we were going to watch a show together but i had missed some parts she had already seen and I had to go back and watch it. She handed me her phone because my wifi wasn’t working and said here you go “I hate rewatching the same thing”, it doesn’t sound that bad but it bother me the way she said it and handed me the phone. I was a little annoyed by this so i responded with the same energy by saying “when did i ask” she did not like this and tried to snatch her phone back like a child. my grip was strong so she didn’t take it. I brought up the fact that she said that and I said it was unnecessary for her to say that and come off as aggressive and she said that i was calling her feelings unnecessary. (like girl you’re literally complaining abt rewatching a show ) I told her that’s not what i was trying to do and that it came off offensive and she didn’t need to say all that. If she really feels like those were her feelings then ok but i’m not going to entertain those childish emotions like you feel like you hate rewatching a show and felt invalidated when i said that it was an unnecessary comment. Honestly I feel like in some of my friendships I am too understanding and this is one of the cases. She gives me so much attitude apart from what i’ve mentioned and i’m actually annoyed especially after spending 5 days together. I lived with my dorm friends for 9 months and it was the best experience. I don’t think i’d be able to handle her to be honest. Her and her mom are way negative and only stop to realize when they actually see that they’ve hurt someone’s feelings. why do i feel like maybe i’m the problem ? i don’t feel like i’m getting my love in return and it makes me think that I could do better. Honestly I just want to hear some ppls opinion on this

2023.06.02 10:34 TheEnragedPander Seller says "Bought it sealed from ebgames as a kid". Worth being on the wall of shame.
2023.06.02 10:33 wifeofweasle2408 My step-grandma couldn't stand me
First I have to explain a bit about my family situation. My dads mother died under weird circumstances when my dad was only 14 years old. She crashed with her perfectly working car and it did burst into flames killing her instantly. My grandpa moved on rather quickly and married my dads stepmom. My dad and my aunt are pretty sure they had something going on while their mom was still alive and the car was manipulated but there's no evidence and my grandpa is still fighting everything off to this day. My step-grandma never once dropped something nice about their mother. She badmouthed her in every way possible. The stepmom wasn't the best person to be around in general and my dad moved out as soon as he could.
Soon after my parents met, got married and had me. I pretty much look like my dad so it was no surprise that I looked really similar to his mom when I grew older. We compared pictures of her at the age 11 to me (when I was 11) and we looked almost identical. Apart from the hair (I inherited my moms curls) I still am her Mini Me which makes my dad really happy.
My step-grandma hated the fact that I looked like my bio-grandma and despite being the only grandchild she was never fond of me. When I was around 12 years old the stepmother died. I've only met her 4 or 5 times so I wasn't too sad and neither was my dad. My grandpa however was devastated. This is the first time in 40 years he was on his own. So we decided to spend the summer with him to help him get settled. My dad, who is a professional chef taught him how to cook balanced meals, my mom cleaned out the house and me and my childhood dog Trevor entertained them with laughter and plays. His house was huge (he since moved into a nursing home) and really old school. I spent the nights in my dad's old bedroom.
One night I woke up at around 2 am. I tried to fall back asleep but Trevor, who slept next to my bed growled at the door. I thought that someone was going to the bathroom and woke Trevor up. I got up and looked out the hallway - nothing but pitch black darkness. I went back to bed but felt really uneasy. Something was off. I turned on my nightstand lamp and grabbed a book from my dad's old shelf to distract myself. I opened it and saw a signature
"Happy Birthday Chris, love Mommy" Darkness. My lamp was turned off. I tried to turn it on again but it didn't work. Mind you this room was really old so I thought the light bulb just gave up. I tapped through the darkness and turned the headlights on. They worked but they flickered like crazy. Trevors growling turned into whimpering so I turned it off again and went back to bed. I put the book on the night stand and closed my eyes.
But I listened. I heard my dogs breathing and... footsteps? Footsteps out in the hallway. I knew my family members footsteps and it sounded nothing like my mom. They were to light and dainty to be from a male. I jumped off, yanked my door open and turned on the hallway light.
Nothing. Just footsteps. They went quieter. Just like someone who's walking away from me.
The next day I asked if someone was awake and walked through the house that night but they all slept through. Only later I told my dad about my experience and about Trevors reaction. He laughed it off and just said that his stepmother probably doesn't want me to look at things related to his bio mom and she's only visiting me because I look like her. He was joking but deep down we both know he was probably right.
To this day I'm sure that my step-grandma was roaming through the night and didn't like that I, someone who resembles her husbands late wife, looked at things she bought for my dad. I am really proud to look like this amazing, elegant lady who brought my amazing dad and lovely aunt into this world. I wish I had met her since we apparently had my similar personality traits as well.

You can hire scaffolding companies to put up scaffolding on someone else’s house while they’re away. They will come home to see there house completely covered and they will think something is wrong you can hahah. You can then hire someone to start taking there roof off as they don’t ask to see if you live there so the next time someone at work steals your yogurt even tho your name is on it they will have a nice Prize waiting for them when they get back from their holiday in mimi and will think again before eating you yoghurt. 2023.06.02 10:33 teknixelevators20 10 Things to Consider Before Buying a Residential Lifts in Bangalore by Teknix Elevators
Introduction: When it comes to installing an elevator, whether for residential or commercial purposes, several factors must be taken into consideration to ensure a safe and efficient vertical transportation system. In this article, we will discuss ten essential things to consider before buying an elevator, with valuable tips from Teknix Elevators, one of the leading
elevator companies in India, specifically in Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Safety Features: Safety should be the foremost priority when choosing an elevator. Look for
residential lifts in Bangalore that comply with international safety standards and regulations. Ensure that the elevator is equipped with features such as emergency stop buttons, interlocks, safety sensors, and fire-rated doors to protect passengers in the event of an emergency.
Space and Capacity: Evaluate the available space in your building to determine the appropriate size and capacity of the elevator. Consider the number of passengers it needs to accommodate, as well as the size and weight of potential users, including those with disabilities. Teknix Elevators, known for manufacturing the
best home elevators in Bangalore, offers customizable options to suit diverse requirements.
Energy Efficiency: Choose an elevator that is energy-efficient to reduce your carbon footprint and operational costs. Look for elevators equipped with energy-saving technologies such as LED lighting, regenerative drives, and standby mode to conserve energy when not in use.
Maintenance and Service: Consider the availability of maintenance and service support from the elevator company. Opt for companies like
Teknix Elevators, which have a reputation for providing prompt and reliable after-sales service. Regular maintenance is crucial for the smooth operation and longevity of the elevator.
Customization Options: If you have specific design requirements or preferences, look for
elevator manufacturers in Bangalore, like Teknix Elevators, that offer customization options. This allows you to personalize the elevator's aesthetics, cabin finishes, and control panel to match your building's décor and style.
Noise and Vibration: Elevators should operate smoothly and quietly to ensure a comfortable ride for passengers. Consider elevators that incorporate noise and vibration reduction technologies to minimize disturbances, especially in residential buildings.
Compliance with Accessibility Standards: If you require an elevator for a building that needs to be accessible to people with disabilities, ensure that the elevator complies with accessibility standards such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or the National Building Code (NBC) of India. These standards govern features like cabin size, button placement, and handrail height.
Reliability and Durability: Invest in an elevator that is reliable and built to last. Look for reputable
elevator companies in Hyderabad and Bangalore known for their quality and durability. Check customer reviews and testimonials to gain insights into the reliability and longevity of their products.
Future Expansion:
Consider the potential need for future expansion or modernization. Choose an elevator system that allows for easy upgrades and integration of advanced technologies. This future-proofing approach ensures that your elevator can adapt to changing needs and technological advancements.
Budget and Cost: Evaluate your budget and consider the long-term cost implications of owning and maintaining an elevator. While price is a factor, prioritize the overall value and quality of the elevator system rather than solely focusing on upfront costs. A reliable and well-maintained elevator will provide a better return on investment in the long run.
Conclusion: When purchasing an elevator, it is crucial to carefully consider factors such as safety features, space and capacity, energy efficiency, maintenance and service, customization options, noise and vibration reduction, compliance with accessibility standards, reliability and durability, future expansion possibilities, and budget.

2023.06.02 10:32 Dry-Piano-7320 My (24f) bf (25m) isn't convinced I'm over my toxic ex?
So my (24f) bf (25m) and I started talking about 2 months ago and became official for two weeks before this thing happened.
I had a very very stressful week because I was working two jobs and my family was on my back for not making time for them and I was also stressed about not getting enough time with my bf and it was all a mess but I didn't really have much time to process my feelings. One day my bf and his best friend (24f) and I went out. She's also a friend of mine and she's basically the matchmaker but she had just broken up with my brother(26m) a little while ago. So we were super lovey dovey which made me feel anxious around her bc I'm shy and I'm not too comfortable with obvious PDA now let alone she'd just broken up with my brother. (And also more background info: a year ago my brother was having issues with his relationship and asked my opinion if he should break up, their relationship lacked comparability in important stuff that I related it to my previous relationship and thought yea maybe you should do it why put so much time and effort in a relationship that's going to end. At the time I had recently broken up with my ex and was still in the process of moving on and didn't even know his gf well.) Also on that specific day in the morning I didn't have much work to do so I went to my work friends and we played a question game that had a lot of negative questions about the past like "what's the biggest shock you witnessed?" "Talk about someone that broke your trust" I didn't answer the questions but I went through them in my head and it got me into a negative and anxious mood. Yikes.
When we were out and our friend left he talked to me about her and my brother and how maybe I could change my brother's mind again bc I supported the break up first and maybe my brother was affected by people around him and stuff and it made me feel uncomfortable bc I wanted to spend quality time with him not talk about this thing that stressed me out.
Anyway when I got home my bf and I called and talked while he was on his way home. Also ended up talking about the relationship. Then while waiting for him to call me back when he's home I sent him a voice note saying I'm so tired and I might sleep and I really don't wanna go to work and want to cancel my lectures for tomorrow (my other job is teaching) and I was overwhelmed and anxious but not crying. When he called me, bc I feel safe with him I guess I started crying.
I had wanted to tell him I was in a kind of abusive relationship but I also really really didn't want to tell him about my past. Bc it's something in our culture and I want to keep that to myself anyway. He didn't share his romantic past with me either and I respected it dearly and wanted to do the same. But one time he shared one of his rock bottom memories with me and since then I felt maybe I should tell him about this period in my life. And so I started feeling stressed about that as well. I have moved on I know I have. But that period of my life shook my self confidence and traumatised me. And I went into a dilemma of should I tell him or should I not. And decided against it. But when he asked me why are you crying even though the day was fine I told him idk. And honestly I didn't know for real. I guess I needed to sit down with my feelings and untangle them before I spoke but my dumbass blurted out the stupidest things. I said the day was full of negative questions about the past and he asked me what happened in the past that makes you cry like this and I blurted out that I was in an abusive relationship. Before saying that though in the chat I was telling him how grateful I am to have him after having gone through hell and getting to experience all the gentleness and love and respect and all the things I'm feeling now. So felt that all that meant I hadn't forgotten my ex and I'm trying to find someone who's the opposite of him and felt compared. Because it was other things that I stupidly blurted out without thinking. I told him when I first found out you're religious I was so happy but when you make certain jokes I take it back (in a joking manner) but then apologised bc I didn't want to seem bigoted and also he talked about something serious that conflicted with religiousness but I understood so I didn't want him to think I'm judging that. And when he asked me about why I connected the relationship of my brother to mine I mentioned the spiritual incompatibilities and so 😬
I understand that he felt that I appreciate everything he did bc I put it in a comparison with my ex and he won. And the crying made him think I'm not over him. He felt very offended by the comparison and I didn't know how to explain it to him and every time I do it comes out bad. And a lot of times I get defensive which I assume really makes it seem like I haven't moved on from his perspective.
He asked for a break and we took a break. We did talk every now and then. He seems to have gotten into a bit of a clearer head but the thing he's not getting over yet is the comparison. And connecting everything to that relationship. Like I'm looking for someone who's the exact opposite of my ex because of the heart break he caused me or something. Which isn't true. I haven't been in any relationship since bc I'm not the type to date much. When I met him he felt so right in every way and I guess I obsessed over not making any mistake and winning him so much that I stressed myself as well.
When I think about the situation from his perspective I feel bad bc it seems very bad that we spent a good day together and I'm crying about my ex. I want to prove to him that I've moved on. And that I want to bury this past. I personally want it buried I don't even want to talk about it any more to anyone not even to myself. It's really gone sure I was hurt but I worked through it. I guess the only thing remaining was me forgiving myself bc that's what I usually talk about whenever I remember.
Please he's the most wonderful person in the world if you disagree with his reactions please be gentle bc he filled me with so much certainty and if this is anything of a human flaw I'm willing to accept it because he's just a wonderful person in so many ways and I want to fight for him. So please I want advice to win him back and reassure him.
The thing that bothers him is in his head how do I assure him it's only in his head without coming off as gaslighting bc I only think about him and only want him. And I want to keep reassuring him of so.

2023.06.02 10:32 wingchun1274 Upgrade 30 devices from W11 home to pro
Hi all,
We recently got 30 users joining our organization and we want to enroll them in Intune / Autopilot. Our first step is upgrading their W11 home edition to pro so that we can apply the Windows 10/11 Enterprise E5 license and enroll them.
We have contacted our Microsoft partner we currently get our licenses from and they quote 180 euro for a W11 pro license, retail pricing is 150 euro and the grey market (CD-keys, G2A, etc) is 15 euro. I have read that Microsoft volume licensing is an option but we don't have access to that.
The grey market option is attractive however I am worried that the keys might get deactivated in the future.
Which option would be the best to upgrade 30 users from W11 home to pro?

2023.06.02 10:32 Doubleblackderp Just a few suggestions
I’ve been playing on my ps5 and I like the game, it’s nothing to write home about but it has the perfect design for a nice 1-2 hour session imo. The main problem I see in my games though is that whether intentional or not, people don’t really follow the roles or pay attention to the state of the match at any given time. I had a game this morning where almost the whole team was throwing themselves against the enemy walls, meanwhile one castle guard squad and I were struggling against two squads rushing through our middle gates because no one really built defenses.
I think giving a valor incentive for doing role based objectives, and silver bonus for completing missions would be a good start towards fixing this. Maybe 15-25 valor for doing objectives you’re assigned with 10 being the base for anything else (for example building a ballista as castle guard earns more than attacking enemy defenses) and maybe 100-300 for missions just going down the list.
Next would be in game voice chat, at least within squads with commanders having the whole team available on push to talk, being able to communicate to your squad with info would be ideal and having the commander able to let the entire team know about key opportunities or needs for retreat would probably bring better personal satisfaction for everyone’s performance in match,
The last thing I could think of is adding role queue and open queue game modes. Right now the way ropes are assigned seems a little off, I’m sure there’s people who end up being assigned castle guard or special ops while wanting assault either because two or more people wanted it or no one on their squad voted while everyone else did. I’m almost certain this at least a small part as to why some may see those same roles leaving defenses bare and rushing into the fray.
Changing this to leaving squad making for after roles have been chosen both by letting people pick what they want and making however many squads you can for each and by having roles selected before even queuing up for a more traditional experience of the game, having players pick at least two roles or being open for any. Obviously this is the system that overwatch uses but I feel as if it is the very system that would help this game flourish.
These are just my thoughts on how to help improve what is already a solid foundation. Again I enjoy the game even with more losses and draws than wins and would like to see it become something more recognized and experienced, just needs a few tweaks is all.

2023.06.02 10:31 Able_Safe_3924 "A Journey of Struggles; From Kota to Uncertainty": - A JEE Dropper's Tale
I am a 2023 JEE dropper, currently writing this from Kota. My journey began with a lack of preparation during my 11th and 12th grades. Nevertheless, my parents managed to arrange admission for me at Allen Kota. I chose to come here because I knew that I would work hard to achieve my dream of getting into a top IIT. Initially, I was scoring around 90-100 in JEE Mains and 40% marks in advanced mocks. Everything seemed fine until Diwali break when I returned to Kota from home, and my flow got disturbed, leading to a loss of consistency. This marked the beginning of my downfall.
Fast forward to November when the NTA announced the JEE Mains date, and Allen's target was to complete the syllabus by the end of March. However, with the date announcement, everything got disrupted. Teachers advised us not to focus on the January attempt as we hadn't completed the syllabus. As a result, I ended up scoring a mere 77%tile.
Serious preparation began for the April attempt, and by mid-March, my scores improved, reaching around 100. I was confident that I would reach 150 by the end of March. But on March 19th, Sunday, I received a call from home informing me that my dad was sick and wanted to meet me. In my life, nothing comes before my parents, not even my career. I immediately packed my bags and embarked on a 20-hour-long journey, traveling in the general compartment. Just before reaching home, I saw a relative's WhatsApp status with a photo of my dad, saying they missed him and asked him to come back. In that moment, my whole life changed. I felt like I was about to faint, but the faces of my mom and my brother (who is in 8th grade) flashed before my eyes, giving me the strength to control my emotions.
I arrived home and stayed there until April 4th, taking care of all the necessary procedures and last rites for my dad. During my stay at home with my mom and brother, I didn't let a single tear fall from my eyes, drawing strength from within, maybe from my dad himself. My JEE Mains exam was scheduled for April 8th, and I returned to Kota in time to take it. However, my performance was even worse than the January attempt. It felt like my memory had been erased.
On April 19th, the answer key was released, followed by the results on the 29th. Fortunately, I passed the EWS category cutoff for JEE Advanced. I decided to give it my best shot and began studying for more than 8 hours a day. However, I soon experienced a mental breakdown. All the mental strength I had mustered disappeared, and not a day went by without crying for hours. I realized that my strength, pride, friend, motivator, and idol were no longer with me. I felt completely alone in Kota. I tried my best for the JEE Advanced, but the results were disheartening, with me scoring only 10% marks in mocks. Now, I don't know what to do or what to say. I see everything blurred ahead, an unclear future, and I wonder where I will end up. I can't help but question what's going on and why it's happening to me. Amid all these problems, I miss my dad dearly. His advice was a constant boon for me. He understood me, supported me, and loved me more than anyone else. How will I navigate this cruel world without him?
Now, I find myself questioning the presence of God!

2023.06.02 10:31 WolreChris Does TrueNAS Scale Apps documentation exist?
I've been using TrueNAS Scale for a while now, but have never actually come across any official documentation/repository/possibility to file bug reports for TrueNAS Scale apps marked as "Official" in the available applications (e.g. Plex Media Server, Home Assistant, etc). Have I just miraculously missed it or do these apps actually not have any form of documentation or support?
