My fiance and I have been living together for about 11 years. Planning to get married end of this year.
Now, recently we moved to a new home, bigger house. We used to live in a condo before.
We also recently brought a new puppy home. So it's the 3 of us. We both work from home.
Problem is, everytime she gets tired of cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, cleaning puppy's area, she turns her stress to me. 😔
When I noticed that same pattern of behavior after cooking or cleaning, I told her that we can just buy freshly cooked food to lessen daily chores. Yet, she continued to still cook everyday. Then she becomes very moody.
I help by throwing trash outside, cleaning the dog's poop, feeding the dog etc.
After she's done all the cleaning, suddenly she would act and talk irritated and it gets very difficult to talk to her calmly and enjoy the talk.
When I tried to talk to her earlier calmly with relaxed tone of voice, she responded irritated, like very moody.
She is like that everytime she's done cooking or cleaning, sometimes entire day.
Now, I feel like I want to totally avoid her. I can't even have one good normal talk with her. I mean, all those chores, people do that everyday. I help as well. She won't stop cooking even if I already insisting that I'll just buy freshly cooked food and have it delivered. She won't calm down. 😔
It's tiring to live with a person who at anytime would suddenly get mad or moody.
I tried to hug her earlier and she responded with a firm angry sounded tone "later! i am tired and has things to do for work"
Can't calm her. Makes me lose interest in talking to her. She became like that when we moved to a bigger house.

Recently had a contractor build a base for 4 Ikea pax units and build cabinet storage above. The first day of work everything went well. He built the support for the back of the pax units and the base.
I put together the ikea units a couple days prior and he moved them into place and secured them together. I was happy with the work and excited to see the finished product.
All week he’s telling me the rest of the work will take 3/4 hours. He shows up today and it takes from 1-10pm to build, install, and paint the upper cabinets and 2 trim pieces at the end of the pax units. This took way too long to complete and the work looks rough. The cabinets he built don’t look finished. He didn’t use any edge banding around the doors, no putty or caulking around wood insert designs or areas where caulking was needed for a finished look.
No primer and I’m sure only one coat of paint on everything. You can see the wood pattern underneath the paint. Interiors of the cabinets are unpainted as well. Also one of the cabinets looks to be damaged from installation. The top seems to be split from when I assume he tried to force it in place.
I haven’t received an invoice yet for todays work. I can’t justify paying for what I believe is going to be a ridiculous amount of money for the quality of work I received. Im fine with paying for materials even though I’m probably going to rip this out and start over. The labor cost is what is driving me crazy.
What would you do in this situation? I plan on taking pictures in the morning of areas of concern. Hopefully he rectifies these issues at no cost but I doubt it.

Too many posts lately feel there is people looking for perfection. Looking for the critique for the perfect form, advice to attack a pattern a certain way, what their arsenal is, the equipment is perfect, the right way for a butt plug to fit for a 60' pattern with a urethane coating.
Everyone, it's probably important to remember that at the end of the day, this game is here for us to throw a moderately heavy ball quickly to a spot and hoping for the best. Regardless if you are Kyle Troup or some dick face from Nevada, that ball just gonna do what it's gonna do. But more importantly sometimes shit does not go your way.
This is an extreme example, but tonight my child misunderstood my statement of "pack up the hooking balls" as my wife's only ball and my ebonite spare ball, along with her own motiv ball. Usually at the very least, between my motiv, storm and track, she would choose not the ebonite. But she only grabbed my very fucked up ebonite plastic spare ball.
But you know what, that's a pretty fucking ball going down the lane, so i spent my night letting my kid try for a strike or i pick up the spare. And ultimately it was enjoyable to work together to fail into a 120 game together. Sure i could have went back for my normal reactive ball, did the normal bullshit to get an ok game during practice. But honestly, seeing the fire of competition from my kid as i bowled with her, was worth it compared to just trying to perfect a throw that ultimately means fuck all to my life.
I write this as a reminder, perfect whatever you want, but don't forget, 1% of us fucks are going to amount to anything on this sub, and i hope everyone here goes pro, but enjoy the journey and make damn sure the kids near you enjoy this dumb frustrating sport. And teach where you can, share your knowledge, don't be an asshole, and more importantly, have some fucking fun throwing a ball that physically shouldn't work as well as it does.

Questions; 1-is this stallion worth buying? Found this tempting boy on the market today and I’m wondering whether this is something I should consider buying, I would be spending a lot but it’s a thought, I don’t have grade 6 yet (my only grade 5 is a foal) and I love his coat. I just think since I’ve been pretty careful saving so far it feels wrong to spend (a third of) my gold on one horse that may not even be “rare” or have good stats (not even close to 57-57-57). 2-is this a “rare” coat? I recently bred this foal (the grade 5 foal I mentioned earlier) bred with a star club stud and I’m currently caring for them, they don’t have the best stats it seems but I’m wondering since I’ve been breeding with these studs but this is the first time I’ve actually gotten the coat, is this coat anything to be excited over? 3-what to spend gold on? 2023.06.02 03:15 imezz00 DIY Outdoor Kitchen - Landing and Perlite Rendering

Next step in the process was building the landing for the front of the oven and tiling the landing before I could start the done rendering. I had left over bricks from building the kitchen cabinets so I used those on it’s side to build up the landing. We decided (by that I mean my wife) to go with a tiled landing instead of granite. She lovingly picket out a hexagon shape with a pattern. She also wanted to wrap that pattern all the way around…. NOT ONE tile was installed without needing a cut. I tried using a scorer and a wet saw and nothing gave me nice enough cuts. I found that the same diamond pads I was planning on using to polish the countertop can be used to polish the cut edges to a factory like finish. So I ended up polishing many of the exposed cuts. Used a hand grinder to cut the tiles. I went with a flexible cement based sanded grout. The idea is that it can withstand more expand and contract being outside and by the oven. The perlite render’s first coat was very enjoyable and easy. Wife actually got in there with me and we knocked it out in about an hour. I hoping to do it all in 2 coats but the first coat isn’t half of the needed 2 inches so let’s see how the second coat goes. Next up is finishing the rendering and waiting a few days to dry before we can start some curing fires!! I am so excited to potentially be able to cook by the following weekend. Kitchen wise I still have items to go. Mainly finishing the countertops, wrapping up some small plumbing, and building the wood cabinet doors. I have come to the realization that I can’t continue to do this much work myself without ignoring a lot of responsibilities (wife also is tired of the war zone) so we are going to hire a friend to do the roof covering. It’ll be nice having it done in a few days time. |

Looking to see what the hiking is like down there. Specifically if there’s any suggestions on a good city/area to move to near Nashville with a lot of trails nearby? Are there a lot of waterways? Like streams and whatnot to keep the pup cool when hiking? He has a black double coat and loves laying in the water. Even puddles suffice in his mind haha.
Going to be moving from NY sooner than later and have settled between two places. It’s unlikely I’ll be able to visit before actually moving. I’m 33 and only have a dog to care for so that’s not a big issue.
I know this may not seem 100% like a hiking topic but hiking & gravel biking are really my main deciding factors now that I’ve narrowed it down. Being generally near a younger crowd would be a bonus but I don’t want/need to be in Nashville proper. That’s why I was looking at the Nashville area. Maybe up to 45 min away, like Fairview (a lot of gravel riding) or Franklin/Murfreesboro possibly?
I don’t really see Tennessee mentioned too often when I see people hiking post. I’ve been to many of those states and wasn’t too keen on them for other reasons.

Hello! Sitting at home and not interested in watching TV or anything right now. Just kinda restless day, ya know? Where it's been go-go-go all day but didn't accomplish anything. Alittle about me, Im a good listener. I adopted a dog a year ago who is basically my baby. I'm Catholic but kinda fallen away from mass since covid. I enjoy taking photos of nature during hikes or long drives. I have my own house and enjoy gardening. I do work in the legal field and won't be sending any selfies or anything as I've seen that mess up lives of families and careers, so don't ask for pictures. I enjoy helping others. I don't game or watch anime, so I hope that isn't an issue. I have been trying to get back into knitting, but am also finally pursuing lifelong goal of being around horses and hoping to learn basic horseback riding this year! Idk, just looking for someone to shoot the breeze with, listen to your life and what brings you joy, etc.

 | Not sure how this album/captions will show up for everyone! So, here's my dilemma: submitted by gotfoundout to knitting [link] [comments] I am making the Kaleidoscope Doily Beret , but I am NOT a fan of how busy the tiny leaf motif is towards the head-band (picture 3). So I looked at the original chart (picture 1), which I included just a section of for reference, and tried to change the lace pattern into something that should ultimately resemble triangles/diamonds/angled lines/ just something a bit more minimal (picture 2). The bolded portion of my hand-written pattern is copied directly from the original pattern so as to resolve the motif I've already started (I'm currently knitting the hat, on row 77). I have never created lace charts, and while I am pretty sure the stitch counts match up, I'm not sure it's going to create the look that I think it will. So I just thought I would post it here and see if anyone catches anything glaring that might tell you I'm not going to achieve what I intended to. If anyone sees anything like that, I would love to hear about it!! Haha Thanks y'all! |
