New Studio - SW Portland, Oregon (F45 Raleigh Hills)!
Hello F45ers!
I'm one of the owners of F45 Raleigh Hills, opening in SW Portland, Oregon! I'm an avid Redditor and have followed this subreddit on my personal account for many years. I know this sub doesn't tend to have a ton of active owners and I can't promise that I will be, but I know many Portlanders like myself use Reddit and I also appreciate when owners pop up on here to answer questions.
Our studio is slated to open this month in April! Like many other studios in pre-open, we are doing Foundation deposits and are currently in tier 3. We are the first F45 in Portland, although there was one previously about 15 minutes west in a town called Tanasbourne before closing down during the height of the pandemic. We are extremely excited to bring F45 to this area!
I was a coach at UC San Francisco's F45 for 3 years and loved every single day of it. My fiancรฉe and I decided we wanted to open our own. She is a Portland native so we were shocked when we looked and we were able to open one where we wanted!
We both have degrees in Kinesiology and years of experience working at gyms. I am both a Certified Strength/Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Certified Exercise Physiologist so I have experience training athletes and people with various contraindications for exercise. I've run my own personal training business for nearly 6 years and have trained hundreds of clients to reach their goals. Our plan is plan to find coaches who are similarly qualified and can demonstrate their knowledge and energy so they can help deliver incredible workouts!
All that to say, if you are a Portland resident we are still accepting foundation members and we can put you in a higher foundation tier if you email/text us with the code REDDITF45 after signing up! Also, if you are NOT a Portland resident, and are visiting town once we open, you can email or text us ahead of time with the same code and we can comp one class for you.
I'm also happy to answer questions related to our studio and our pre-opening!

2022.11.30 20:15 app4131 Which classes should I take?

I'm interested in learning how to make a Donald Judd Daybed ( )
I'm currently looking into classes that I can take at my local wood shops. I don't think I can afford private instruction or a complete package, but would like to learn the basics before attempting my project.
The local classes I am considering offer a DIY Bench class or a DIY plywood box class:
Do you think either of these would teach me the basic techniques needed to make the daybed? If so, which one?
Thank you!

2022.09.21 09:39 sahilsharma_bs How do I conversion tracking with no access to third party domain?

A client of mine accepts booking from a third party platform (Mindbodyonline) . I am directly sending traffic to our main website. Is there any way I can track conversions on the third party domain ?
Imp. I cannot access the third party domain's software- means i cannot add the GTM code or anything there so the normal cross domain linking is not working .

2022.06.27 23:43 Jsalters1 How to get a class count

Depending on how long you have been a member of OTFโ€ฆ.if you recall, we used to sign up for classes via the MindBody website. This was before the app became available. We had to create an account under our home studio. If you did that you can still log in as all of your classes are still tracked under your studio. Just click on โ€œVisit Historyโ€. If you changed home studios, you have to log into each location separately. So for example, Iโ€™ve been a member since 2012. Iโ€™ve had two home studios during that time. And Iโ€™ve visited studios as Iโ€™ve traveled. So I have an account set up at both locations. When I use my credentials to log into each, I can see all of my visits. Now some will be duplicated because your home studio tracks โ€œCross Regionalโ€ visits which are visits to other locations. So if you go between locations and have an account for both, your home studio will track it as CR and your other will track it as well. But if you take your time, you can honestly tally your total class count.
If you didnโ€™t create an account back then, try to create one now. It may still work. Go to Type in Orangetheory, and then select a location (your home location). Then select the link โ€œLooking to book a serviceโ€. Then you should see your location at the top of the page. Next click Create an account. Walk through the steps to create and account. Click and agree. This should create an account and then once the account is created, Click on My Info and then Visit History. Tell me if this works for you!!!!!!

2020.08.27 02:02 ummagumma_1987 Planning for an Ashtanga Practice

Hey all,
I'm wanting to work up to an Ashtanga practice during quarentine, and would love some feedback on my current plan.

In September, I'll take Amica Hilton's unlimited classes online as I really need a consistent teacher and time to practice. My current studio is just all over the place with class types, teachers, and changes in scheduling and it's made it really difficult to get on any sort of routine with it.
In September, I'll can also take Jen Rene's Introduction to Mysore, which is a four class course over four weeks to build some foundation and basic working knowledge.
In October, I can start taking Mysore classes online with someone totally badass in a far away place. After watching a lot of Ashtanga interviews, I really like Maty Ezraty's approach Ashtanga, emphasizing the practice's accessibility to any body type, and allows for some flexibility in her teaching methods, drawing from other practices like Iyangar. In general, she does not have a rigid approach to Ashtanga, while still keeping its core principles. If you have any recommendations for badass female teachers that offer zoom classes regularly, I would much appreciate that. I found a couple of teachers already, but not sure if they are the type I'm looking for. Perhaps I won't know until I take some classes with them.
Jรถrgen Christiansson Okmar108
And FINALLY, when quarantine is over, I can start practice at a local studio, and/or continue my practice at home (which is my ultimate preference).
Given Mysore's format, I think it would be hard to start this practice over zoom though. The practice seems right up my ally though, so any thoughts on how to begin would be amazing.

2020.04.08 00:38 loveactuallyis Joffrey Ballet - Adult Beginner Online Classes

Hey everyone, just wanted to give a plug here and say that Joffrey in NYC is doing live online ballet classes that started yesterday. I'm about to take my first one and can report back on my experience, but wanted to share since I've seen a lack of beginner classes online ever since this whole thing started. They are not free, but only $10/class which is super affordable.
All of the teachers are great, but I personally love Bill and Stephanie's classes. Hope some of you will join! Keep dancing x

Edited for review: I just took the Beginner I class with Bill and it was great! His classes are always a bit slower and he explains a lot, but that was good for me as I'm just getting back into it after a month of hiatus. There was minimal jumping as most of us aren't on proper sprung floors, and no across the floor work but I felt that was okay. I would highly recommend!

2018.08.11 07:34 debbiewith2 Seeing cancellation history?

I found it! not the studio mindbody site!!
Hi, didn't there used to be some place on the app or online where you could see all the classes you've signed up for, including cancellations and no shows? I got charged for a day that's not on my personal calendar, and I can't find it, but I thought there was a way to check myself before I put my complainy face on and talk to the studio. Thanks for any help!
ETA: thanks all for trying! I wonder if the BETA version doesn't have it or this is studio-specific. But my studio texted me the info. Apparently I signed up 2 weeks in advance ... right after OTF! and splat brain didn't hit the Add to calendar button
