Looking for some advice on what to do and not to do.
In 2017 I had surgery for a vocal cord cyst after a very strong shout in 2015/2016 (can’t remember). My voice was perfect after surgery.
Did speech therapy but it didn’t help with my voice till I got the surgery. The tips and how to talk was generally very helpful and I know I used the techniques for some time post surgery.
In 2022 I started realising my voice was being iffy again. In March 2022 is when things got pretty bad, went to ENT in May and he said there is no issues just technique and getting over a cold. But my voice only recovered very little. I never got back to 100%. And in August 2022 it was back like 2016 - I couldn’t even make a sentence and I need to talk a lot in my life, job and kids. It got better but nowhere near 100%. I will say at best 50% better. And has been like that ever since. I can’t talk without my voice being crappy. I can’t sing or chant or public speak. I’ve realised nowadays when I talk my jaws start to hurt.
I saw the ENT again in Jan 2023 and there is a cyst again. Same spot not as big but it’s there. I have no idea what caused it or why it came back. What I did wrong. According to him they can come back whenever. He reckons its not affecting me enough for surgery but he appreciates he doesn’t live my life. I am scared of surgery a second time because of scaring.

I have been using emulators for about 8yrs now. I used to play nes and genesis on my computer growing up but I never knew they were emulators. Well I have played almost every popular ps1 and Gameboy games that have come out. I truly enjoy retro gaming but the 1 aspect I have rarely enjoyed Is multi-player. When I connect the AC Power Adapter, the battery icon shows a charging symbol but the percentage is always stuck in that percentage. The battery discharges normally in 3 hours of usage (normal behavior) but never charges when I plug it on. Also, even if I keep for 1 hour the charger connected, then disconnect it and then restart the laptop, the battery will still be in that % but now will discharge. This shows a healthy battery. I ran a health check and it's 88% of capacity, which means it can still store energy (it is a new device, I mean..). My battery went 0% two times so far and I was able to make it charge from there by: 1. Turning off the laptop. 2. Connect the AC power adapter (since the battery reached 0% and cannot turn it on without the adapter). 3. Hold the power button for 30 seconds to perform an RTC BIOS reset. (After this the orange LED blinks 2 times indicating a successful reset). 4. Accept the warning message about the successful reset.

1. When Ubuntu is loaded, after signing in I unplug the AC power, so the laptop turns off.
   
2. When I connect the adapter again, the white LED indicator turns on immediately meaning that the battery is being charged. After 2-3 hours of charging I disconnect and turn on the laptop without the adapter but with 100% of battery.
   

THINGS TO KNOW:
- Note 1: Every time I connect the AC Adapter, and the battery has more than 0%, this white LED indicator turns on only for 5 seconds and turns off immediately. This is kind of weird since this normally happens when the battery reaches 100% meaning that it does not need to charge anymore.
- Note 2: I tried disconnecting the battery from the motherboard and performing a power reset holding for 15 - 20 seconds the power button, just like explained on the dell webpage, and then connecting everything back but nothing. I left the laptop battery disconnected for 24 hs and still nothing.
- Device: Dell Inspiron 3515 bought in August 2022.
- Hardware update: This version came with 8 gb of ram, so I upgraded it to 16 gb adding a SODIM 8gb ram. (October 2022).
- Operating System: I installed Ubuntu 20.04 LTS and I'm constantly adding updates that Ubuntu offers me related to security and performance.
- Bugs:
- My mouse pad for some reason sometimes gets sucked when I use the "double touch" gesture to scroll. (Drivers incompatibility indicators from the OS) I found this issue and its a OS bug that has been reported already.
- Sometimes when I open the laptop, the screen holds like a video bug like pure pixels RGB but distorted for 1 second, and then it shows the image. (Another indicator)
- BIOS VERSION: 1.2.0 - Info in BIOS: AC Power adapter: <65W> (it is detected)
- Dell Support Assist diagnosis: All looking great. No issues were found. Battery healthy and AC power detected successfully.

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS THAT I CAN IMAGINE:
- BIOS update? - Go back to windows 10? - Try another version of Linux? Is this a battery charge cycle driver problem or something similar?

I am/was in the process of purchasing a flat. I offered 7 months ago, there’s no chain either side so this whole process has taken much longer than I expected already. Solicitors on both sides seem to have taken 4 weeks minimum for each stage.
In December told this can take a few weeks for enquiry packs to come back as they needed the building management company’s input - and when this came back we would have a date.
But it’s now nearly April and we’re still waiting. Last week my estate agent got in touch and told me that no one had been able to contact the seller since early January. He had not responded to calls, emails or written letter from either his or my solicitor, or the estate agent. It also appears he may have contacted the management company and told them not to continue with the checks - but didn’t tell any other party.
In the meantime I have paid for electrical and plumbing surveys - at a cost of nearly £500. Not to mention legal fees and mortgage fees.
We know the seller is alive and well - but only because someone went to his flat to check he was ok and they saw him at the window looking out to see who was buzzing. When he saw who it was he hid.
I now find myself 7 months in, having paid over £1000 in fees.
I understand circumstances can changed at any time - if he had sent an email just saying that and he was no longer looking to sell I would be upset, but far more understanding as this is always a risk when buying.
But the fact that he has gone completely AWOL feels underhand and almost deliberate. In light of the fact that he seems to have deliberately dragged this process out, I’m wondering if I have any options in terms of asking him to reimburse me for costs incurred - and subsequent legal options to pursue this?

I've been studying for n10-008 and I've been getting 77, 80s and 90s on Jason Dions Practice tests, my exam is in 8 days. Will I pass no problem if I am passing Jason Dions practice tests? How comparable are they to the real n10-008 exam? I have port numbers down no problem, wan topologies and technologies, cable categories, i can subnet but only by making a graph, how people do that in their head still confuses me. network security and troubleshooting seem to be my weakest subjects but im still over 75 percent in those categories as well. I'm terrified it'll be nothing like dions practice tests or cover something random that wasn't in my study material and ill have wasted nearly 400 dollars lolz.

I think everyone has gotten a Nigerian scammer that messaged you on facebook or instagram or something. Before you call me racist, I've dealt with hundreds of scammers and over 95% of them were Nigerians, I know becuase i snagged their IP addresses. I've met a handful from the Phillipines, Cameroon, Ukraine, Russia and Moldova, the later 3 were obvious since we spoke in Russian.
Anyways the scams are usually some hot Asian girl asking you about crypto or some horny white girl from some buttfuck town in the middle of Ohio or Illinois who is lonely and wants your attention. I recently have been getting a lot of these, like 1-3 facebook freind requests from these people daily. I think I might have pissed off some NIgerians who are really trying to trick me but im not sure. I have been getting these for weeks and I usually jsut message them shit like "fuck you Nigerian scammer" or I start messaging them in Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo or other languages (google translate).
I decided to have some fun and I kept callnig this person out and he kept trying to convince me he's a hot girl from Pennslavania and after like 30 minutes he admitted he's a scammer. I told him I'd pay him 75 dollars if he threw tomatoes at the Chinese or Russian embassy in Lagos. He actually did. He went up to the embassy and filmed a video of him and another guy throwing tomatoes over the fence and it hit a building, some were hitting the window. I could see the Chinese flag and the building looked exactly like it did on google maps and all the embassies/consulates/diplomatic buildings seem to be located near each other. I ahve a friend who works for a differnet country's diplomatic mission which is near the Chinese one and he confirmed that the video they sent me happened there. He asked around and he found out that some guys asked one of the guards if they could throw the tomatoes and the guards wouldn't stop them, in exchange they'd split the money.
THe Nigerians are angry since I'm not paying them. I told them I don't care, they tried to scam me and now they know what it feels like to be scammed and that they deserve it. They keep threatening to kil me and hack me and whatever. They said they owe the security guard money and htey have problems now. I told them to go fuck themselves and they deserve it.

Does anyone have any tips on how to stop ruminating Thoughts from coming up and consuming your everyday life? Before you call me racist, I've dealt with hundreds of scammers and over 95% of them were Nigerians, I know becuase i snagged their IP addresses. I've met a handful from the Phillipines, Cameroon, Ukraine, Russia and Moldova, the later 3 were obvious since we spoke in Russian.
Anyways the scams are usually some hot Asian girl asking you about crypto or some horny white girl from some buttfuck town in the middle of Ohio or Illinois who is lonely and wants your attention. I recently have been getting a lot of these, like 1-3 facebook freind requests from these people daily. I think I might have pissed off some NIgerians who are really trying to trick me but im not sure. I have been getting these for weeks and I usually jsut message them shit like "fuck you Nigerian scammer" or I start messaging them in Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo or other languages (google translate).
I decided to have some fun and I kept callnig this person out and he kept trying to convince me he's a hot girl from Pennslavania and after like 30 minutes he admitted he's a scammer. I told him I'd pay him 75 dollars if he threw tomatoes at the Chinese or Russian embassy in Lagos. He actually did. He went up to the embassy and filmed a video of him and another guy throwing tomatoes over the fence and it hit a building, some were hitting the window. I could see the Chinese flag and the building looked exactly like it did on google maps and all the embassies/consulates/diplomatic buildings seem to be located near each other. I ahve a friend who works for a differnet country's diplomatic mission which is near the Chinese one and he confirmed that the video they sent me happened there. He asked around and he found out that some guys asked one of the guards if they could throw the tomatoes and the guards wouldn't stop them, in exchange they'd split the money.
THe Nigerians are angry since I'm not paying them. I told them I don't care, they tried to scam me and now they know what it feels like to be scammed and that they deserve it. They keep threatening to kill me and hack me and whatever. They said they owe the security guard money and htey have problems now. I told them to go fuck themselves and they deserve it.

i used to count yung mga times na nagpapakita ka sa panaginip ko ever since we broke up - it was more than 20. it took me months to stop and slowly cut you off on all my socmeds, started no contact na rin just to move forward.
almost a year had passed already, I'm confident that I'm in a good place mentally and have been dating someone who makes me happy, loved, and be the best version of myself. pero the universe can be so funny sometimes. i dreamt about you when your birthday was nearing, and i dreamt about you on my birthday. turns out you greeted me pala and i just found out today.
