I’ve been low contact with my family since 2019 and officially went no contact this past October (as if it was really much of a change). I still have them on Facebook as I don’t really use Facebook besides to check up on random people from my hometown. And they love nothing more than to sub post about me on there. I haven’t spoken to them in years. Didn’t even go to my father’s funeral. And they think I’m going to show up at my sister’s graduation? After not seeing them for 3 years or having a conversation with them since October? After not inviting them to my WEDDING?
My (former, I guess lol) brother decided to make a post calling our sister his “only sister” and that he “wouldn’t miss this day for her”. The same brother who stopped talking to me just because he didn’t like me years ago when we lived in the SAME HOUSE. We would literally be home alone together and he wouldn’t mutter two words at me. The same brother who used to beat the shit out of me as a kid. The same brother who bought everyone else Christmas presents BUT me. Same brother who told everyone I wasn’t allowed to have his cell phone number because he didn’t like me. Same brother who went to JAIL for beating his child’s mother and made our grandmother who doesn’t even work bail him out. I closed out of Facebook before I could see what my narcissistic mother had to say and I probably won’t open that dumb website again except to delete my account.
I’m not going to let this get to me anymore once I type this post. I’ve known for years that they were not the loving family I deserved. It just sucks that when I finally had enough and stopped associating they couldn’t take the hint and finally after multiple missed life events decided to throw a fit online.

So this is a story from my childhood, some friends of my grandparents, a very sweet elderly couple, had this crazy story about this lamp they have had for decades and I never thought much more of it other than being a fun story until I experienced it personally, so the lamp itself is very old, I wanna say 1910s, and what it does according to their story that never changes and has been happening for over 40 years, the bulb will randomly come up missing and be found somewhere in the house, from simple places like in the middle of the floor or in the drawer under the lamp itself,t o absurd places like some examples that were told were in the bathroom sink, the ice maker in the fridge, in the toilet tank {only found when the toilet was opened years after they replaced the bulb when they gave up searching for that one) and even INSIDE THE LAMPS BASE which takes some effort with a screwdriver to even open. Now I always laughed at the story when I was little, they would joke about the latest silly spot they found the bulb, but I became a believer in that story after seeing it for myself, this took place back when I was 11 years old, my grandmother ends up in hospital for a bit, so I'm staying with her friends temporarily, I'm in the guest bedroom with this damned lamp, I had been there for about 2 days at this point and the lamp was always on even through the night (I preferred it on anyways) well on the 3rd night at 3am (yes I know that's a cliche time for paranormal shenanigans) I'm under the blankets not really awake but not quite asleep, suddenly the room cars dark which startled me fully awake, the door hadn't opened and no one came in, I grabbed my only decent light source which was me taking my Nintendo DS and cranking up the screen brightness, I go over and sure enough that lightbulb was gone, actually genuinely freaked out now I got back under the blanket and tried to distract myself playing on the DS, didn't sleep at all, come morning after a bit of searching the bulb was in the drawer of the table the lamp was sat on, the old man said this is the most common place it tends to end up, I get freaked out more because this drawer is on metal rails that made a hell of a squeal when he opened and closed it which I would have easily heard so somehow this ended up in there without the drawer opening while I was right there, to set the scene the lamp is on a small end table right next to the head of the bed, so 2 feet at most from my head where I was laying when the light went out, sadly I can't follow up on this anymore, I haven't heard from them since my grandmothers funeral in 2013 they were in their 90s by then and I assume have passed as last I went by that house the car in the driveway was something that old couple wouldn't have touched with a 10ft pole lol (if it matters at all the time of my personal experience was summer of 2005) just wonder if anyone has any similar stories or experiences, I would love to know, I know there's at least one because reading it is what got me motivated to actually tell my own story. I also have had a few other incidents after that of random objects in my own home being somewhere else when I know for sure that's not where I put them (even one case I had literal evidence that the object was right where I had put it only to find it not in that spot not long after!), but its not the same object every time like the case with this lamp

This is just a snippet of a larger story but I wanted to share what happened recently.
My NMom died last month and the house she lived in we both co-owned together, so now the home is mine. She had my step-farther and two sisters living there as well.
During my mother's funeral, my sister wanted me to give her until the end of July so that she can find an apartment, which I was cool with it, I even offered to sell the home to my step-father if he could qualify for the mortgage.
During this time, apparently my NMom rekindled a relationship with her sister whom she haven't spoken with in four years, and she attempted to take over my arrangement with my siblings and wanted me to promise them that they can stay as long as they want, which I simply refused. She even tried to false accuse me of a crime, saying that I was abusing her because I refused to promise that I would give them an unlimited stay, but luckily I was recorded the conversation and told her I did, so she ran out the house. . Two weeks ago, I get a call from my grand grandmother and she was under the impression that I told my sisters that they needed to leave ASAP, which I never said. Apparently my aunt was spreading this lie around to the entire family. So to counter the narrative I drafted leases for all of them detailing the terms that they can stay until August and if they need more time then we will handled it on a case by case basis.
I had then sign the lease yesterday and my sister was having a fit. I stood my ground and told her that if she didn't sign that I was going to give her a notice to vacate. I'm not going to stand having people bad mouth me but benefit from me at the same time. She signed that lease quick and fast, but she was also texting my aunt in the background.
After signing the lease, I was going to disconnect the cable and install equipment from a different providor which would have been cheaper for me. I explained that I was going to replace my equipment but my sister yelled and screamed saying that she would get her own internet and that she already has home internet because her phone has 5G.
I acknowledged her request and I took all of my equipment home leaving them with no phone, TV, or internet. While my sister attempts to get service from a provider which is not in the area.
All in all, my mom was a manipulative individual used and abused all of her children for her own benefit. She used me to buy a house when she ruined her financial life, she used my sister and deprived her of a high school education, and she robbed my ausitic sister from having a social life. Now my extended family hates me because I decided to leave and live a life that makes me happy and that I'm holding them accountable to their promises.
I didn't really have any questions, just wanted to vent.
