I 29(M) and my GF 29(F) have been together for 16yrs. My girlfriend and I are travelling to Bali next week and are planning to avoid the most touristy areas of the island. Our plan was to rent a scootemotorcycle and then drive away after the first day towards the quieter areas.
Now I'm reading that Bali plans to ban all tourists from driving scootemotorcycles due to a lot of accidents happening.
I was wondering if this is something that is already implemented. I already have my international license and was planning to stick to all the local laws (helmet, etc.) I drive a motorcycle in my day-to-day so I know how dangerous it is to act like a moron on these things.

I feel like dating is hard enough in todays culture with tinder and unrealistic expectations but I just feel really at odds being the shortest guy in the room at most places (5’4). Despite trying to get into a serious relationship ever since I was 18 or so I still have yet to have a girlfriend and I’m now 26. Hello all - hope this is the right place to ask this.
My girlfriend and I have been together for a few months now, and it's been pretty great in almost every way. This will be longer, so I'll try to condense as much as possible. I have seven cats, all currently eating raw. Five of them are related (parents about 2 years old, kittens a year old), and the other two are about 21 and 16 months old. The family of five I have are inbred - to what degree, I'm not sure. I rescued them from a bad situation, but they appear to be happy, healthy cats. My vet has recently said that both the parents and two of the littermates have heart murmurs. They were not graded, and no tests done, but my girlfriend let slip that we raw feed them and of course, the vet started wanting to blame the diet. I'm a bit paranoid now, and would rather just check with this subreddit to make sure the setup I have is suitable.

For the past couple of months, I've been basing the food off of MyPetCarnivore's whole ground chicken. MPC says that their grind is about 75/15/10, which is a bit bone heavy for my liking. I've been grinding boneless chicken thighs and adding those with chicken livers and ground lamb spleen to balance the mixture to 83/7/5/5. I will typically prep three days of food at a time. I mix two whole eggs in with the food, 5,000 mg powdered taurine, 6,800 mg of Omega-3s via ZestyPaws salmon oil (https://zestypaws.com/products/pure-salmon-oil-for-dogs-cats), 1 tsp of low sodium salt, 1,800 mg Vitamin E from a gelcap (I've recently read I may need to switch to powdered form), and two B-complex capsules (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0013OSL5S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I believe they're properly supplemented from what I've researched. Each cat gets about 225 mg supplemented taurine and 325 mg Omega-3s per day with these amounts).

Admittedly, I haven't been ordering as much variety as I should. I've placed another large order to get some duck and chicken hearts, some beef organs, and some other more exotic organs from different animals to switch it up. They also do whole ground beef instead of whole ground chicken, so I think I will rotate that in as my base as well. Does this process seem like it will support cats for longevity and health? I'm in the process of finding a holistic vet somwhere in my area.

Me and my girlfriend both work full time (at the same workplace), when we got our frenchie we go home at lunch to take him for a 20 minute walk, and my retired mother lived around the corner she would also check in on him. My mum moved 6 months ago however and she is now 2 hours away.
I just have the most awful feeling every day now knowing my dog is alone for 4.5 hours in the morning and another 2.5 hours after we have been home for lunch.
He is the most loving dog i ever owned he loves to always be around us and touching us when hes lied down. He also is full of energy, i just feels so cruel.
I have adjusted my schedule by waking up earlier to take him for a walk before work. I also started putting his breakfast inside a large kong so he has something to do for a while. After the walk at lunch i give him a puzzle toy with some low calorie treats inside to try and give him something to do again.
I guess the point of this post is am i cruel for working full time and owning a dog, or is not as bad as i think it is.
I am considering getting another dog so he has company, i just have been hesitant because it feels perfect having 1, not spreading attention, having at least soom room on the bed. and i dont want his personality to change at all. in the past ive had 2 dogs and my first dog change so completely when we got the second, she just totally withdrew, never played with her toys since.

Me (34F) and my ex (35M) have three kids together, 12F, 11F and 8F. I have a 14M from a previous (abusive) relationship who husband has brought up as his own since his bio dad checked out and we got together when he was 1. Throughout our marriage he has insisted he loved my boy the same as our joint children and very much played dad to him. My son has ADHD and some behavioural issues, myself and my two oldest daughters are Autistic and ex and youngest are neurotypical.
When we split up he moved into a tiny place and the kids hated going there so we agreed I would give him my house for him when he has the children, one night one week, two nights the next, until he could get a bigger place (he estimated this would be around October 2022). Obviously it’s been a bit rubbish and many nights I’ve slept in my car to accommodate this. He also uses my stuff, doesn’t pay any contribution and doesn’t tidy up after himself or the kids so it has been annoying for me but at the same time it was meant to be temporary and was in the best interests of the kids.
This weekend I asked him (politely I might add) to please tidy up after himself as I’ve asked many times before as it’s very frustrating coming home to mess everywhere to be honest. He then responded that he would not be having the children at my house anymore, he will take the girls to the flat and my oldest he will see 6 hours every fortnight. My 12 year old daughter is refusing to go at all so I will basically have no child free time. I know that they are my children and my responsibility and I’ll obviously make it work, but having three kids with additional needs is very hard work and I’m absolutely devastated I won’t get any real breaks, especially as oldest is currently awaiting a new school and therefore home all the time and one of my daughters is on a reduced timetable as she is struggling so much with school.
I’m so angry and frustrated, I’ve tried to hard to be flexible with him, switching days so he can go on dates with his girlfriend, lending him money when he has spent all his (he has a very good income while I’m on benefits but he is irresponsible with his money), basically anything he’s asked I’ve accommodated and I hate that he has left me without any breaks because he’s decided it’s easier to tidy up after them at his flat and that my son is “too hard work”.
The worst of it is… I know something about him that could absolutely ruin his life, stop him seeing our kids, lose his job, his girlfriend the lot and there is a horrible voice in my head saying I should use this to force his hand but I obviously can’t really as it will clearly effect the kids, and I know ruining him because I’m angry isn’t the answer. ETA Since he spends all his money on crap he has made no progress to moving to a larger place, and now he has a new girlfriend he is living with her on the days he doesn’t have the kids and is just at the flat when he has them. On a side note, she is claiming full benefits (UK) so his income has just shot up too but he is also looking at ways to undercut his child maintenance payments 🙄
