I just finished the Bathhouse and Cruising (from Dec 22) episode, where a Canadian of my age (60 here) and the podcaster talk about bathhouses and cruising. I think it's important to listen to, especially if you're someone born after 1990. Nobody is trying to bring back the past but such talks answer a lot of questions about the fragmented gay community. It's not for everyone, most younger men grew up with the click-meet-sex-go. As a result of quick fixes isolation and floating lost on a life ocean slowly settles in. Trigger warning! I (22 Female) have been with my bf (24 Male) for 2 years. We have recently gotten news that we can move into our own flat on the 1st of April, after struggling a lot to get a place and being declined a few times. Moving out has been my dream since I was very young - I didn’t grow up in the easiest family environment and have gone through 3 parent divorces. He on the other hand is a single child to loving parents who has just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary! He had amazing opportunities as a child including living in Asia for 6 year ( his Dad got work there) before returning. He speaks of being a child as if it was the best time he could ever imagine and that nothing will ever be like that again, he’s mentioned it a few times but I always try to get him to think on the bright side and not feel like his life is over. Because to me mine is only beginning. He closer we get to moving out the worse this has gotten he keeps mentioning how old he is and that being this old is really upsetting and that he would rather never do anything for himself and that he could make it easier by not being here. The most recent text I’ve gotten from his is “I really see nothing bright or happy about the future only death and sadness. I’d do anything to go back”. Now I’m a big believer in therapy and I’ve gotten him to go twice but he thinks it doesn’t work and that it’s a waist of money (this largely comes from his parents not believing that mental health is a real thing). He doesn’t want to go to a doctor or seek help but will constantly send me messages like this. I’m arranging our lives together and he just doesn’t want to be here.

I’m a 25m, I started CrossFit last April and have seen great results to my strength and overall quality of life.
But I’m at a point where my muscles aren’t recovering fast enough. I played football for 8 years and I definitely feel tender in my ankles, knees and shoulders and football definitely has contributed to the wear and tear.
I have an appointment with my doctor Thursday for peptide therapy, they were suggesting CJC 1295. I wanna put on lean muscle mass too, and I don’t wanna go the route of AAS’s, but I do know peptides have nowhere near the effect of AAS’s. I was gonna inquire possibly with HGH as well.

My girlfriend (of almost a year) recently broke up with me but told me multiple times that she still loves me and said she wants to stay in touch after the 'breakup'. I agreed and didn't think that she would want this much contact. Her replies to my messages are almost instant even if I do not reply for multiple hours. She even compliments my looks sometimes and she has kept my belongings for the time being. I really want to have her back but I am unsure of what to do. When she broke up with me I could tell that it was really hard for her and I think she might be unsure of it herself. I know there is no universal thing to do to get someone back but nevertheless I am very confused and don't know what to make of her actions or what to do. Any help is greatly appreciated!

So I first started learning how to trade when I was 22 and in college (2019). In May of 2022, I bought my first ever funded challenge and couldn’t make enough profit within the 30 days so I earned my first free retry. Since then, I have done 7 more free retries and still couldn’t make enough profit in time. It’s making me a bit depressed. I know I should be glad that I haven’t failed yet but it’s almost a year since I’ve started and I’m feeling down.
When I see a setup or when there is a certain news release that I have no previous knowledge on, I’ll just watch and see what happens, and I’ll go back like a year on the charts and backtest that specific news and make a rule. If I see a pattern I don’t recognize or if there’s anything off to me I’ll do the same thing. This is definitely why I haven’t passed yet because a lot of these trades I’ve watched were winners but I just sat out instead of taking action. There are weeks where I’ll spend 30-40 hours backtesting, and honestly learning something new or figuring out a correlation makes me very happy. I’ve been trying to make my strategy mechanical since my problem was originally being afraid to enter, and now I’m no longer afraid. I have a whole database of thousands of screenshots with tags so I can go look back for reference, and I’m more confident in my analysis than ever. I finally have an if —> then strategy which has been my goal due to the kind of person I am. I’m pretty much done backtesting as I’ve done the last 18 months worth since I started my first funded challenge last year, but now I find myself impatient and stressed out because I’ve been seeing my setup less because my rules are so specific. I’ve also found myself considering just taking “it is what it is” trades just so I can get it over with, which is undisciplined and I know I’d probably fail that way. My RR is 1% per setup and I always enter twice so 0.5% per entry. My first tp is 2R and my second is whatever FVG or liquidity I see price heading towards which can be 2.5R+. I’m not sure my point of typing this, I guess I’m just venting because I have no one in my life that trades but I’m open to any constructive criticism or tips.

Used 5 times in the past 4 years. At LEAST 6 weeks between every dose but I’d stop for a few months or even a year straight at times. ROA was always snorting, and dosage was pretty regulated (15mg> every 3 hours or so. Most I took in one night was around like 80mg or so. Never binged for more than a night, always made sure I ate real good right after, and tried to sleep as soon as possible. I have ADHD; which I’m not sure if it may be a factor, I also noticed a decline in severity of negative thoughts and anxiety during comedowns. Does this mean tolerance? Hi! I developed my first food allergy almost 10 years ago. I would like to describe an allergic experience for me:
Typically I first get a weird feeling that something’s wrong and I then notice that I’ve been getting progressively more uncomfortable.
Headaches.
Hot flashes.
I get kind of stupid. I think slower and process information more poorly than usual.
If I check my temperature at this point it is low by a degree.
Then the world starts spinning -Progressively faster and faster and harder and harder until I can’t stand up and all I can do is curl up in a ball on the floor and cry. If you’ve ever been extremely drunk and had the spins it’s like that but worse.
At some point in that process I’ll start vomiting and as the vertigo progresses the vomiting becomes more and more intense.
If I take Benadryl at the very first signs I can control the reaction. It comes in waves of sickness and if the Benadryl works they get lighter and lighter over the next couple of hours. The more liquid the Benadryl the faster it works. (Liquid starts working in 20 minutes or so, liquid gel caps 30 minutes or so and tablets 45 minutes or so.
If I don’t recognize the reaction fast enough and I throw up my Benadryl I can have a really hard time controlling the reaction and will have to take Benadryl a bunch of times and generally feel nauseated and lower key sick for a whole day.
I’ve never felt airway constriction so I’ve never thought I needed to use my epipen.
Does anyone else get acute allergic attacks that are focused around vertigo? I can’t find anything about it anywhere and my doctors don’t really help.
