Moved to SG from Malaysia
Both only speak Chinese only

●Litters Cigarettes out the window.
●Cigarettes can be found on top of our aircon engine outside and along the staircase area
●Once walked into our house to our kitchen to grab his dropped laundry without permission or consent.
The lady :
●Speaks loud on phone calls out the window at night
●Puts wet soaking and dripping laundry out the window. The water always drips down like raining to our window, our hanging area and first floor neighbors.
●Collects discarded items and furniture and brings it to the house
●Very inconsiderate person, hammers, saws and throws objects on the floor and around the house. (This happens from 12am to 5am daily)
●Slams items or furniture around the house on the floor and likes to beat against the wall with some sort of brush or bristle like object. Maybe a broom? (Happens at 12am to 3am some nights)
●All the ruckus caused and heavy loud noise is made above our bedrooms where we have a hard time sleeping.

The sudden loud banging sounds in the night has woken me up multiple times and caused me much sleep deprivation and anxiety due to the sudden loud thuds every time. Like when falling asleep you''ll just hear a loud knock or "BANG".
Numerous reports have been made to town council but nothing was ever done about these reports. No response nor improvements. The nuisance got worse overtime.
These neighbors need to be set straight or be sternly warned, they are causing havoc and disrupting peace and other's sleep at wee hours on a daily basis, other people need to go to school and work. They are being extremely inconsiderate and we are desperate for a way to just stop them once and for all.
I have a lot of audio recordings of their loud hammerings at extremely late hours and videos of their dripping laundry from above outside the window.
I don't think the police are going to do anything and I have no idea what else to do. Some friends say we can sue them for damages albeit expensive... but I don't think money will forever cure the lost sleep or mental depression this has caused. I just want them to stop the ruckus or just move out or even evicted if it comes to it because I'm at my wits end with their behavior.
I remember the first time I went up to try and confront them and saw their corridor, it was abysmal. It was full of broken furniture and bikes and their stuff took up the entire exterior of the HDB corridor. (Im not sure why their next door neighbors didn't tell them to stop)
I have never been in their homes before but a 5th floor aunty went to visit them once as the 3rd floor lady her 5th floor aunty are somewhat friends. 5th floor aunty has informed us (me and my father) that the room above my bedroom was like a workshop with broken furniture like tables chairs and cupboards with tools and equipment. Some even hung and placed on the wall "on shelves like trophies" she stated. When the 5th floor aunty asked why she didn't want to throw away all these garbage, the 3rd floor aunty responded "These aren't trash, these are things I want to send back to Malaysia for friends and family." Of course the convo was in Chinese, was just a brief translation.
I'm assuming they are hoarders that moved from Malaysia into SG HDBs and are not aware...they cant do these things they do here...especially not in HDBs...let alone in the night every single night. I'm not sure how they can live with no sleep, maybe they sleep in the day and wake up at night to grab discarded items from the trash before the morning cleaners come and pick up the trash for recycling.
And no they aren't new neighbors, they have been here long before us. From the info of our home's previous owners they were here even before them. We moved in about 7 years ago.
Any help and advise is extremely appreciated to solve this mess of a situation, I'm not sure what the next move should be. Thank you for your help and time, neighbor complains are probably common, so it may be in bad taste.

For anybody who's watched football for all their lives, they know what a 4-5-1 is. However, I thought that a lot of the people here might not know what it is and I wanted to break it down for them and the implications it might have on the team
First of all, I wanted to clear up naming conventions: As Ted pointed out, every number in a formation could signify the amount of players in each type of position there is. A 4-4-2 is 4 defenders, 4 midfielders, and 2 attackers. A 4-3-3 is 4 defenders, 3 midfielders, and 3 attackers. Sometimes, there's more than 3 numbers. A 4-2-3-1 might be 4 defenders, 2 holding midfielders, 3 attacking midfielders, and one flat out striker (or attacker). Now let's get into what tactic the team is looking at for the future:
4-4-2
What the team is currently playing is the 4-4-2. This is what Roy said everybody had played since they were children, and he's right. This is the most basic formation there is (besides maybe the 4-3-3). As it utilizes 2 strikers, this allows both Dani and Jamie to play in their preferred position. This is a solid enough formation, and perfectly usable for a team trying to survive a relegation scrap. This was a solid choice from Roy, since the 2 central midfielders provide good cover to the back line of defenders, which Richmond will need as an objectively worse quality team. However, this is all thrown to shit with the signing of Zava
4-5-1
This is a 4-5-1. It's implied this will be used by Richmond Instead of having 2 strikers, it has only one. Now that the team has 3 strikers, there's no real formation that can fit all 3 in their preferred spots. The 4-3-3 mentioned earlier also involves only 1 striker and 2 wingers on the side. More likely than not, we will be seeing Zava in the center and then Jamie and Dani out wide. Jamie's IRL counterpart, Jack Grealish, likes to play on the left, so I suspect he might be there and Dani on the right. This formation also suits Sam's preferences, as it gives a lot of space for him to push up from right-back (full back). This formation also provides another option in defense, with a defensive midfielder being able to act as either a 5th defender or a 5th midfielder given the situation. If I had to guess, Bumbercatch would fit here. However, there is some ambiguity.

A popular theory floating around at the moment is that Ted is a master tactician waiting in the wings, and he might jump at the chance to present a more attacking formation. I buy into the theory, so I definitely believe that this could be it, but 4-5-1 is used to signify the first presented formation rather than a 4-4-1-1. Here, Zava would likely remain up top. One of Dani or Jamie would stay behind and the other would go wide. If I had to guess, I would say that Jamie would still go to the left for the previous reasons and Dani would act as a second striker, with Sam maybe playing the role of a winger. Zava's IRL counterpart Zlatan has played as a second striker once or twice, but I doubt they'll do the same here just because of how much they've built him up

As a little extra bonus, in the Inside Look clip we got 3 days ago, Nate is shown at home with this planning board. From this, it seems clear that he is planning a 5-4-1. I'm confident in this as we can see the striker, all 4 midfielders, and it appears that there will be 3 central defenders (although we can't see the one covered by his arm in this shot, it's in another one a few seconds later). Interestingly enough, David Moyes (West Ham's current IRL manager) has employed a similar kind of formation before to varying levels of success. Although this season hasn't gone to plan, they were playing quite well for a time.
5-4-1

In football, 3 at the back is exactly what it sounds like: you leave 3 central defenders at the back to cover it all off, while the full backs push forwards to help create attacking opportunities and come back to defend to make it as hard as possible to score. Nate has a much more flat one, with the full backs parallel to the center backs and the wingers parallel to the central midfielders. This indicates a bit of a less dynamic strategy and maybe one more solid. Although the tactic sounds fantastic on the surface (More defenders and more attackers), in practice it could be difficult to execute and run into swades of issues. Notably, the full backs might leave tons of space behind them in the event of a counter attack. We know how fast Dani and Jamie are, so maybe expect a goal or two from them coming in behind? But I can't really make many predictions. As well as that, there's a scene in the Inside Look video that seems to suggest that Richmond loses to West Ham (1:56) when they play at the Olympic Stadium (West Ham's home ground), so I don't want to be too optimistic

This is going to be my first time traveling overseas. I will be traveling with a friend for the most part, but I’ll be alone for 9 days total as my trip is longer than his. I will also be visiting some of my Japanese friends that studied at my university last year. For days when I’m alone, I plan on doing a few day trips outside of Tokyo.
For some information, I’ve already got both my airbnbs booked and I will not be spending anymore money on accommodations. So I will only do day-trips near Tokyo. The only part of my itinerary that’s nearly 100% complete is my Kyoto portion. Everything else isn’t set in stone yet as it will just vary on weathewhat’s open etc.
I have 130,000¥ in cash already, and plan to not go over $2500.00USD after I spend all my cash. This includes money for food,transportation,souvenirs and anything else that I purchase.
I know that my daily plans are only focused on one area for the main part, but that’s deliberate so I don’t over plan. I’m sure I’ll do more than one area most days. (I’m aware that most restaurants/cafes don’t open until 10/11am)

My parents marriage was always toxic. (As was their divorce and post-divorce). Dad was emotionally, financially, and verbally abusive to Mom, and had numerous affairs. He never hit, which is all I can say for him. (He was abused as a boy and broke the cycle of physical violence, but that's it).
Background (can probably skip):
My sisters and I each have a different messed-up relationship with him. He was emotionally abusive to big sister (44F) and he and my twin sister (36F) were basically strangers cohabitating the same living space, and she has nothing to do with him once Mom moved us out. I'm the only one who sought a relationship with him, from when I was too young to understand the family dynamics. But he was the only parent available to do fun things with me. (In hindsight, mom was overworked with a full time job with crazy hours, maintaining the house, doing all chores, shopping, and child rearing, and with my sisters painfully competing for what little attention she had to spare, I decided not to approach her for things).
I saw the divorce coming since I was 5. I flat out asked dad if he was divorcing mom and he said he was waiting until I (the youngest) was in college. I told mom, and she said dad and I were being hysterical; they would never divorce; divorce only happened to other people. (Talk about having blinders on).
My parents started divorcing while I was 14. The proceedings lasted years. Mom got full custody while the divorce was happening. It ended mid-college. Then dad kept reopening the case to avoid alimony. It eventually worked. Mom eventually found a decent man who begged her to marry him so he could offer her financial security. (After my dad's financial abuse, Mom didn't have any security, even social security). Mom married stepdad, but it took years before she healed enough to be happy in her new marriage. (I'm so grateful to stepdad for his patience and kindness. Not that he's perfect, but that isn't relevant).
I should add that stepdad came into the family late enough that I don't feel like he's a father-figure to me.
Main Issue:
I haven't seen dad in person since Jan. 2019, and any visits were sporadic before that. Phone communication was/is sporadic, too. He reached out to me a few days ago, seeming really down about not having a relationship with any of his kids and feeling his advanced age. I offered to meet in a city halfway between us for Father's Day weekend. I offered my big sister the opportunity to come with, as she has found me useful as a buffer in past attempts to reconnect. (She declined, which is fine).
Mom goes hot/cold regarding my wanting a relationship with dad. Sometimes she was supportive, but mostly she would be furious with me and try to discourage me. (On one of big sister's attempts to reconnect, my mom was the explicit cause of big sister breaking it off with dad).
My wanting a relationship with dad makes mom feel hurt, anxious, jealous, etc. (After all, he got the money, so she gets the kids. Also, the only part of her identity she likes is her identity as mom, and somehow, my wanting a relationship with dad threatens that).
When COVID happened, I lost both my job and place to live and moved in with mom and stepdad. (Im grateful for their support. They won't let me contribute to utilities, but I do pay for my own groceries etc). Moving in with mom surely put a damper on any relationship with dad. I've had a job for 2 years and was saving up to buy my own place, but am currently priced out of the housing market and probably not moving out for another year or two.
My plans with dad are tentative for now and I wasn't going to mention it to mom unless they firmed up. But I didn't think to ask big sister to keep it secret, and she went and told mom. Mom hasn't said anything to me, or hinted that she knows.
I know from past occurrence, Mom is probably angry and hurtful that I haven't brought the topic up with her yet. So far, she's hiding it, but I know it bothers her.
TLDR Bottom line:
So how can I delicately bring up the recent contact with dad to mom, without getting into a painful discussion about why I would want to see him after everything he's done/she doesn't understand/this makes her feel like a loseetc, without making her feel bad that I didn't feel like I can talk to her? (Because she will say "of course" I can talk to her about anything and she'll be supportive).

Both sisters say it was thoughtless of me to suggest Father's Day weekend to meet dad. That I should be here for stepdad. For context, last year someone I knew "hurt" my now friends. I heard and thought it was a rumor. I didn't say anything. When the news broke he got out of school suspension for 3 days. He is now currently in my class and I still see him after school too. I replaced him in the competition we were in and "saved the day."Ever since then I have blamed myself for what happened. If I would have said something then no one would have gotten hurt. I could have protected my friends and stopped him, but I didn't. So in my head it was my fault.I hated him with ever fiber of my being. I just wanted him to get what was coming to him. He hardly even knows me and he made me like this. I have lived in fear of it happening again to anyone by anyone, and that I am just as bad as him for my thoughts and for what I didn't do. The unknowing accomplice.

"Maybe that would finally be the nail in the coffin." I just wanted to make things right, and that felt like it would be good for me to "own up" and finally make things right.
But I didn't want to soo I went on my phone. I kept thinking about it and I really could but I just couldn't. So I scrolled and watched and tried to distract myself. And through a sequence of events landed on Character.Ai . This website lets you talk with characters or concepts and such. It's fun. I played around for a bit. Didn't help.I eventually decided to just ask one of their "Advice" characters what to do about everything. I texted them my story and waited.What came next was an emotional back and forth of me screaming into a void and the AI trying to comfort me. I just wanted the AI to spit so facts that made me have a new lease on life so I could just move on. I just wanted to be happy, but I didn't believe anything it said. Any good thing it said about me. It had to be my fault and I had to find a way to make this all worth it because if I didn't, then what was it all for? Eventually I said this.

Ok, the very thing I’m about to tell you may sound fake, dear reader. Despite that, I can assure you that this is very real.
For context, I’m 23, I live alone and this might not sound very surprising but I’m a bit of a nerd.
I dropped out of college due to personal reasons and since then I’ve been steadily building up a collection of DS games. From Diddy Kong Racing to the much harder to find Shepherd's Crossing. I’ve sunk a lot of time and money into this. Back to the main point, recently I’ve started using Ebay, as the local thrift stores inventories have been lacking to say the very least. Most of what I’ve purchased from there have all been in great condition, it’s something I’d recommend if you’re a collector like myself.
However, things took a turn for the bizarre. As per usual, around a few times a week I get a knock on the door, thank the mailman and retreat back into my cozy little sanctuary.
(Edit: *Mailcarrier. Because god forbid the mailman ISN’T a male man.)
I ordered “M&M’s Break ‘Em” , a forgettable yet guilty pleasure of mine.
When I finally opened up the box there was a note “Thanks for Purchasing from so and so” (I have no interest in giving them any recognition after what happened.) Underneath was the case, clearly resealed with tape and a bonus “Grab Bag” of other games I’m assuming they needed to get rid of.
I peeled the tape off of the case carefully and there wasn’t anything inside. Great. $22 (Plus a hefty and unforgiving shipping fee) for nothing. I tossed it aside and impatiently sifted through the bag. Many of the games were broken. Some of them I already had. One cartridge caught my eye. It was white with no label except for residue from the sticker that was once on it before. I swallowed my pride and loaded it into my DS.
I was greeted with a bubble “Please Enter Password.” I didn’t know that you could password protect games but it isn’t completely unheard of. I tried the easy stuff first: 123, 246, 369 etc. etc. Then, other combinations: 111, 222 and so on.
666 seemed to work. I don’t know what edgelord figured that it absolutely needed a password but whatever. There was a loading screen that seemed to go on for what felt like ages when the menu finally loaded. “The Adventures of Rap Boy and..” the rest of the title didn’t fit on-screen. That’s.. Weird. I’ve never heard of this. In the background a rapid beat started to play. Its so familiar. I decided to check the save files, nothing.
I started a new game, put a fake name because I don’t feel comfortable letting tech companies know about me, its almost technophobic in a way.
(Edit: Before you get pissy with my choice of words AGAIN, its a real condition that I’ve talked about with my therapist before. I’m working through it one step at a time.)
I chose something a little stupid that I always go with “Fartbu-” It would be bubble but there was a text limit. Another loading screen but this time it was in the style of the Batman transitions. A womanly sounding voice spoke urgently “Fartbu, I need your help! Someone took my purse!” Lol. Sweet. Anyways, instructions scrolled by too quick for me to read them and I was immediately thrown into game. I got it. I’m playing some weird Batman ripoff.
The controls didn’t work very well and I’d clip through the ground a lot. I was running through a city with a yellowy tint overlay. The type of yellow you’d see on a chain-smoking single middle aged womans living room walls. It almost looked like a GTA clone. There was one objective thus far: Return the womans stolen purse.
Cars sped by, items being thrown at my character. I took varying levels of damage but no purse to be seen. It seemed really unfinished. Eventually I clipped into an alleyway where lo and behold, there was an item I could obtain. It didn’t look like the rest of the game in the way that it was lower in quality, pixelated, while the rest of the game looked more akin to the iCarly game that I was much more accustomed to over the years. This. This was uncanny valley if I’ve ever seen it. As soon as I clicked on it, I was shown “Mission Completed” along with my score. It flickered between 20-40 points. I continued on.
There was a cutscene where my character was rewarded with a shiny golden medallion for his good samaritinship. Suddenly my screen went completely black. It restarted but this time I got the Health and Safety warning. I decided to take a break because I had spent nearly all day tinkering with the faulty controls. When I looked out my window it was already dark outside. I tossed my DS aside and went to bed.
When I woke up I decided to use my laptop, checking my emails and such when I realized an unknown senders messages flooded my inbox. Annoyed, I deleted the spam. I remembered, the game. I went onto Ebay to leave a review but the seller’s page was gone. So were my confirmation emails so I couldn’t go back and check to see if maybe they had any contact information. They screwed me out of my game but its fine.
There’s the daily knock on the door. I put on my slippers and dragged myself to the door where I looked through the peephole, nothing. I opened the door enough so that the door chain would keep the space between me and the outdoors small. No package either. I must’ve been hearing things. I checked back on the game but when I once again started it up, there was another password. It had changed. I tried my previous attempts and got it eventually. Everything that happened yesterday happened again. Loading screen and Menu. The music this time did not play and there was no title. It must’ve gone through some kind of error to completely reset it. My previous and uneventful playthrough did not save. But there was something waiting for me in my save files. An untitled game that seemed to have more progress than I had made. I decided to load it up. “Are you sure you want to load this save?” Yes. I’m sure, DS.
This time the mission was a little more complicated. Even a little different from your typical Nintendo game. I had to resolve some sort of conflict that had resulted in a shootout. The screen loaded more slowly this time. The music suddenly startled me. It was distorted and quite frankly made me a little nervous. The woman called out for help once again but she sounded strange..
I ignored it and went through with my mission. The same city, same cars and same shitty mechanics. I arrived to the spot the game had been not so subtly guiding me towards. These pixel people were throwing banana peels and other fruit. It was fucking stupid but I clipped through the ground and started a cutscene. The screen flashed red and white to simulate taking damage but by the end of it they were all defeated.
Another award ceremony but this time, I could make out my characters face. Is that… Eminem?? I pieced it together. An Eminem DS game. That’s.. Really fucking stupid. I didn’t ask for this nor had I ever seen anyone talk about it.
I popped the game out mid scene and tossed it, and the rest of the games out. I messaged my friend about this because it was stupid and I needed someone to share this with. He answered immediately.
Me: Hey lol. You know how I collect games and shit right?
“L”: Yea
Me: Well this fucker scammed me and I ended up getting a weird foreign ripoff about.. You’ll never guess. Emi-Fucking-nem
“L”: Like… The rapper??
Me: Yeah and it’s super buggy. Like, it doesn’t play well and it came password protected
“L”: That’s retarded. Why would you even play it
Me: I didn’t even know what it was. It didn’t have any kind of markings or anything.
“L”: You’re lucky it isn’t haunted. Do you know how many of those Creepypasta assholes would hound you for it? Lmao
Me: Maybe I’d at least get my money back. Its too late. I got rid of it

Or did I…? I didn’t realize that I left my DS on. The game was… still playing? How is this even possible. I got rid of it and there was NOTHING in the slot either. Maybe my friend was right and it was haunted. No, its probably some weird ass virus it gave my DS. I did a full reset and it was back to normal. That’s a relief. I’d be pretty pissed if some fucking game broke my DS that I payed good money for. They’re harder to come across for a reasonable price these days. I’m rambling but what happened next was disturbing.
My DS started the game again. I didn’t touch anything… Why is it doing this.
Suddenly the title screen was indescribable.. A bloody mess of limbs and organs scattered in the background to make a fucked up pattern and the glitchy music was so loud that it violated every one of my orifaces that could be accessed. I couldn’t stop from playing it once more. I went to the saves. This is what got me. My full legal name was on the screen. My hands shook violently and I wiped the sweat from my forehead. This was no joke. How did it know who I was? The screen went black and the usual mission screen played through. There was no text but the music cut in and out with the occasional blood curdling screech. It loaded but this wasn’t just any city. I realize it now. It was MY hometown. What the fuck is going on?? Is this a joke?? If it is, it isn’t fucking funny. The streets were covered in realistic blood and innards. There were women and children screaming for help and now cars slowly cruised by yelling obscenities at me. About how I was a monster and how could I have done something so horrible but I didn’t do anything. This was the games doing. I quickly shut it and went to call the police but what for? What are they gonna do about a video game? My phone had no service anyways which added to my unease.
I had no choice but to continue. I recognized all the places. The park that was by my home, the schools and the restaurants. I know where the game is taking me.. Or.. him (my character) it’s taking us to my home. I looked outside the window, nothing. I’m not sure what I thought I’d find but that took a little bit of the tension off of me. I let the game do what it does. Realization sat in with me. This is the smoothest its run since I got the damned thing.
We were nearing my street, I chewed my lip in anticipation as I kept glancing outside when suddenly there it was. My house. I wasn’t in control anymore, it was coming up the steps. This wasn’t just my town either, this was in current time, my curtain was pulled back at the corner where I had been looking and I moved into my bedroom.
The screen went black yet again. Damnit. It died.
There was banging at my door. This has to be a coincidence. I checked through the peephole, nothing. I once again cracked open the door when a bloody hand forced its way through the space and reached for me. I kicked the door shut firmly and went to grab a knife. There was a sticky note waiting for me on the counter. “Its no use, I’ve already been inside your house. Love, Slim.” This isn’t funn- My thought was interrupted by the front door swinging open, bringing and inevitable darkness with it. I dashed towards my room and locked the door.
Music was playing, the music from the menu. Shit. My DS had turned back on and was now giving away my more than obvious position. There was more banging and then.. Nothing. It was over. Or so I thought. I glimpsed down at my DS. There was plain white text.
“I’m in the closet.”
Slowly staring up I saw the face of true horror.
Eminem with sunken in black eyes, blood stained yellow teeth and fingernails and tattered clothes. This can’t be Eminem. He hasn’t looked like this in years.
He pointed to me and beckoned me over with a long scary contorted finger.

For context, I’m 23, I live alone and this might not sound very surprising but I’m a bit of a nerd.
I dropped out of college due to personal reasons and since then I’ve been steadily building up a collection of DS games. From Diddy Kong Racing to the much harder to find Shepherd's Crossing. I’ve sunk a lot of time and money into this. Back to the main point, recently I’ve started using Ebay, as the local thrift stores inventories have been lacking to say the very least. Most of what I’ve purchased from there have all been in great condition, it’s something I’d recommend if you’re a collector like myself.
However, things took a turn for the bizarre. As per usual, around a few times a week I get a knock on the door, thank the mailman and retreat back into my cozy little sanctuary.
(Edit: *Mailcarrier. Because god forbid the mailman ISN’T a male man.)
I ordered “M&M’s Break ‘Em” , a forgettable yet guilty pleasure of mine.
When I finally opened up the box there was a note “Thanks for Purchasing from so and so” (I have no interest in giving them any recognition after what happened.) Underneath was the case, clearly resealed with tape and a bonus “Grab Bag” of other games I’m assuming they needed to get rid of.
I peeled the tape off of the case carefully and there wasn’t anything inside. Great. $22 (Plus a hefty and unforgiving shipping fee) for nothing. I tossed it aside and impatiently sifted through the bag. Many of the games were broken. Some of them I already had. One cartridge caught my eye. It was white with no label except for residue from the sticker that was once on it before. I swallowed my pride and loaded it into my DS.
I was greeted with a bubble “Please Enter Password.” I didn’t know that you could password protect games but it isn’t completely unheard of. I tried the easy stuff first: 123, 246, 369 etc. etc. Then, other combinations: 111, 222 and so on.
666 seemed to work. I don’t know what edgelord figured that it absolutely needed a password but whatever. There was a loading screen that seemed to go on for what felt like ages when the menu finally loaded. “The Adventures of Rap Boy and..” the rest of the title didn’t fit on-screen. That’s.. Weird. I’ve never heard of this. In the background a rapid beat started to play. Its so familiar. I decided to check the save files, nothing.
I started a new game, put a fake name because I don’t feel comfortable letting tech companies know about me, its almost technophobic in a way.
(Edit: Before you get pissy with my choice of words AGAIN, its a real condition that I’ve talked about with my therapist before. I’m working through it one step at a time.)
I chose something a little stupid that I always go with “Fartbu-” It would be bubble but there was a text limit. Another loading screen but this time it was in the style of the Batman transitions. A womanly sounding voice spoke urgently “Fartbu, I need your help! Someone took my purse!” Lol. Sweet. Anyways, instructions scrolled by too quick for me to read them and I was immediately thrown into game. I got it. I’m playing some weird Batman ripoff.
The controls didn’t work very well and I’d clip through the ground a lot. I was running through a city with a yellowy tint overlay. The type of yellow you’d see on a chain-smoking single middle aged womans living room walls. It almost looked like a GTA clone. There was one objective thus far: Return the womans stolen purse.
Cars sped by, items being thrown at my character. I took varying levels of damage but no purse to be seen. It seemed really unfinished. Eventually I clipped into an alleyway where lo and behold, there was an item I could obtain. It didn’t look like the rest of the game in the way that it was lower in quality, pixelated, while the rest of the game looked more akin to the iCarly game that I was much more accustomed to over the years. This. This was uncanny valley if I’ve ever seen it. As soon as I clicked on it, I was shown “Mission Completed” along with my score. It flickered between 20-40 points. I continued on.
There was a cutscene where my character was rewarded with a shiny golden medallion for his good samaritinship. Suddenly my screen went completely black. It restarted but this time I got the Health and Safety warning. I decided to take a break because I had spent nearly all day tinkering with the faulty controls. When I looked out my window it was already dark outside. I tossed my DS aside and went to bed.
When I woke up I decided to use my laptop, checking my emails and such when I realized an unknown senders messages flooded my inbox. Annoyed, I deleted the spam. I remembered, the game. I went onto Ebay to leave a review but the seller’s page was gone. So were my confirmation emails so I couldn’t go back and check to see if maybe they had any contact information. They screwed me out of my game but its fine.
There’s the daily knock on the door. I put on my slippers and dragged myself to the door where I looked through the peephole, nothing. I opened the door enough so that the door chain would keep the space between me and the outdoors small. No package either. I must’ve been hearing things. I checked back on the game but when I once again started it up, there was another password. It had changed. I tried my previous attempts and got it eventually. Everything that happened yesterday happened again. Loading screen and Menu. The music this time did not play and there was no title. It must’ve gone through some kind of error to completely reset it. My previous and uneventful playthrough did not save. But there was something waiting for me in my save files. An untitled game that seemed to have more progress than I had made. I decided to load it up. “Are you sure you want to load this save?” Yes. I’m sure, DS.
This time the mission was a little more complicated. Even a little different from your typical Nintendo game. I had to resolve some sort of conflict that had resulted in a shootout. The screen loaded more slowly this time. The music suddenly startled me. It was distorted and quite frankly made me a little nervous. The woman called out for help once again but she sounded strange..
I ignored it and went through with my mission. The same city, same cars and same shitty mechanics. I arrived to the spot the game had been not so subtly guiding me towards. These pixel people were throwing banana peels and other fruit. It was fucking stupid but I clipped through the ground and started a cutscene. The screen flashed red and white to simulate taking damage but by the end of it they were all defeated.
Another award ceremony but this time, I could make out my characters face. Is that… Eminem?? I pieced it together. An Eminem DS game. That’s.. Really fucking stupid. I didn’t ask for this nor had I ever seen anyone talk about it.
I popped the game out mid scene and tossed it, and the rest of the games out. I messaged my friend about this because it was stupid and I needed someone to share this with. He answered immediately.
Me: Hey lol. You know how I collect games and shit right?
“L”: Yea
Me: Well this fucker scammed me and I ended up getting a weird foreign ripoff about.. You’ll never guess. Emi-Fucking-nem
“L”: Like… The rapper??
Me: Yeah and it’s super buggy. Like, it doesn’t play well and it came password protected
“L”: That’s retarded. Why would you even play it
Me: I didn’t even know what it was. It didn’t have any kind of markings or anything.
“L”: You’re lucky it isn’t haunted. Do you know how many of those Creepypasta assholes would hound you for it? Lmao
Me: Maybe I’d at least get my money back. Its too late. I got rid of it

Or did I…? I didn’t realize that I left my DS on. The game was… still playing? How is this even possible. I got rid of it and there was NOTHING in the slot either. Maybe my friend was right and it was haunted. No, its probably some weird ass virus it gave my DS. I did a full reset and it was back to normal. That’s a relief. I’d be pretty pissed if some fucking game broke my DS that I payed good money for. They’re harder to come across for a reasonable price these days. I’m rambling but what happened next was disturbing.
My DS started the game again. I didn’t touch anything… Why is it doing this.
Suddenly the title screen was indescribable.. A bloody mess of limbs and organs scattered in the background to make a fucked up pattern and the glitchy music was so loud that it violated every one of my orifaces that could be accessed. I couldn’t stop from playing it once more. I went to the saves. This is what got me. My full legal name was on the screen. My hands shook violently and I wiped the sweat from my forehead. This was no joke. How did it know who I was? The screen went black and the usual mission screen played through. There was no text but the music cut in and out with the occasional blood curdling screech. It loaded but this wasn’t just any city. I realize it now. It was MY hometown. What the fuck is going on?? Is this a joke?? If it is, it isn’t fucking funny. The streets were covered in realistic blood and innards. There were women and children screaming for help and now cars slowly cruised by yelling obscenities at me. About how I was a monster and how could I have done something so horrible but I didn’t do anything. This was the games doing. I quickly shut it and went to call the police but what for? What are they gonna do about a video game? My phone had no service anyways which added to my unease.
I had no choice but to continue. I recognized all the places. The park that was by my home, the schools and the restaurants. I know where the game is taking me.. Or.. him (my character) it’s taking us to my home. I looked outside the window, nothing. I’m not sure what I thought I’d find but that took a little bit of the tension off of me. I let the game do what it does. Realization sat in with me. This is the smoothest its run since I got the damned thing.
We were nearing my street, I chewed my lip in anticipation as I kept glancing outside when suddenly there it was. My house. I wasn’t in control anymore, it was coming up the steps. This wasn’t just my town either, this was in current time, my curtain was pulled back at the corner where I had been looking and I moved into my bedroom.
The screen went black yet again. Damnit. It died.
There was banging at my door. This has to be a coincidence. I checked through the peephole, nothing. I once again cracked open the door when a bloody hand forced its way through the space and reached for me. I kicked the door shut firmly and went to grab a knife. There was a sticky note waiting for me on the counter. “Its no use, I’ve already been inside your house. Love, Slim.” This isn’t funn- My thought was interrupted by the front door swinging open, bringing and inevitable darkness with it. I dashed towards my room and locked the door.
Music was playing, the music from the menu. Shit. My DS had turned back on and was now giving away my more than obvious position. There was more banging and then.. Nothing. It was over. Or so I thought. I glimpsed down at my DS. There was plain white text.
“I’m in the closet.”
Slowly staring up I saw the face of true horror.

I 27 told my fiancé 30 1 rather not be included in his family functions because of drama..his family is Asian and I am not. Deep down I know they don't like me because they prefer him being with an Asian. But this is not the reason why ldon't want to be included in any of his family functions
Yesterday my fiances cousins wife surprised him at our home and made accusation that I was making multiple tiktok accounts and saying harshful things.. I have been recently been in a dark place. and I literally do not have the time and patience to do any of this let alone I don't care for others problems. so back story her and her husband has been having huge marriage issues and her husband talked to my fiancé about it, which he told me... but I'm pretty sure her husband has told other people about their issue as well. And I'm a bit annoyed that she's accusing me..she has recently became a tiktok influencer and has 1.millions followers now and ever since hee tiktok fame she has become extremely full of herself and extremely toxic and emotionally ab to her husband... again,I would never make fake profiles, to bully someone and l'm somewhat hurt by this
