Hi, as you can guess I have just found this and wanted some advice please. Way back when I was young I had the Fulda Gap game and I find that I really want something similar, I have seen the occasional Fulda Gap for sale on eBay but would like a more modern version of the game. Can anyone point me in the right direction please

Okay so i'm a fairly new seller who made some decent sales & cash within a few months of the game, then ebay placed a temporary restriction on my account asking for proof of invoice & bank statements etc.
Now the dilemma i have is that the things we bought were not directly from the company, we bought them through a broker cause he would get the products at a discounted price. The products are genuine & from the company itself but the thing is i only have a proforma invoice (which ebay rejected) and not a final sales invoice
Idk what to do, the broker isnt too keen on getting the invoice made & ebay is also now asking for my bank transactions after rejecting the proforma invoice. I only have multiple paypal payments with to the broker.
We made payment on installments to the broker via paypal. Will ebay accept that? Idk what to do please help me, this is the one avenue i actually found to actually make some money to get by --- i'm still a student.

I am a mid-20s male in the midwest currently going through a career change and am interested in becoming a NERC RC or a similar role. I am having trouble finding information about this field, and am hoping some of you might be able to help me out–I’m in the ‘I don’t know what I don’t know’ stage right now.
My background: I have worked a little in IT, but primarily I have worked in media/marketing as a videographephotographer. I have enjoyed this, but it is a very oversaturated field and terribly difficult to make a living doing. I have decided to look for a more robust line of work to invest in. Medical and Law are out, as the education barriers are too high (I am speaking strictly of the on-paper requirements). I considered computer science or a similar IT role, but I am just not that taken with either of those.
Why do I want to become a NERC RC or something similar?

• Great pay relative to education. There are people on this subreddit claiming you can start at 70k+ with no experience if you have a NERC RC certification. It seems a little too good to be true, in this day and age. What’s the catch? Do I need experience as a lineman or some other entry-level role before I am realistically considered for a NERC RC position? Is the certification test just really damn hard? I am not opposed to paying for it myself, I have the means to do so and I will do it if it makes me attractive to employers. On college..
• I do not have a degree. This limits my options in terms of what I can do. I am not at all opposed to learning/upskilling, whether on the job or off. But I am not willing to invest in a bachelor's or associate's degree program at this time. I want a position in the field first, to make sure I find it agreeable. I am inflexible on this.
• Robust. The grid ain’t going anywhere. Technology always changes industries, but I can sleep at night knowing that my job has a good chance of existing in 5, 10, 15 years…. I hope.
• In-demand. I am again reading that companies are having trouble finding good people and it is slated to get worse as boomers leave the workforce over the next 5-10 years. There appears to be an opportunity here for young people who will step up to the plate. I’ll work long hours, get certifications and bring a good attitude.
• Technical. I do have an interest in electricity and engineering. I enjoy working with computers/machines and overseeing systems. But quite frankly, I’ve done the whole ‘follow your passion’ thing. I need a career that will allow me to earn a living. I’m being very practical here.. Or at least I’m trying.

Now what concerns me about becoming a NERC RC?

• Relocation. Some travel is OK, but I do not really want to move. I especially do not want to move to a coastal city. I live near a major metropolitan area in the midwest. Moving within an hour of my current city would be okay, but beyond that, I’m not sure. I understand I may have to sacrifice on this position, but I really hope not.
  
• My skills. I mentioned my interest in technical skills, but truthfully it is more accurate to say that my strengths are with people and relationships. While it’s true that these are great foundational skills, I don’t want them to be the basis for my career. I’m not enough of a people person for marketing, truly. Sales seems like it would wear me down in a few years. Technical account management at a high level is competitive and requires a lot of education and experience. The other thing to consider is, that I basically do not have experience in the electrical engineering field. This would be an entirely new direction for me. Would I get laughed out of the room if the last job on my resume was as a photographer? I read on this subreddit that people from diverse backgrounds often find their way into an RC role.
  
• Long shifts, often overnight. I think I can manage this, but it’s troublesome because I’ve never done something like that. I would hate to find out the hard way that it won’t work for me, but there isn’t really a shortcut. Again it is very important to me to be able to at least get a feel for the work before investing significant time and money in a degree program. If something about the job won’t work for me, I want to find that out ASAP.
  

I am looking for resources, study materials, advice, industry forums, and general things I should know about this job and this industry. I really appreciate any and all responses. I’ve been extremely optimistic over the last few days while I research this field and learn more about it, and now I need some second opinions.

i’ve been a gamer for years, and had been meaning to look into the elder scrolls (especially skyrim) forever but for some reason kept putting it on the back burner. even last year, someone gifted me oblivion for my birthday and i played a little - it was fun but i ended up leaving it for a while.
then, i saw skyrim on sale on steam this week and i finally thought to go ahead with it. (i’m sure everyone’s seen the thomas the tank engine mod, which was pretty much my only knowledge of skyrim, so i thought i’d get it on pc so i could have fun with silly mods later down the line.)
the moment i pressed play, i was sucked in. i was completely enamoured with the world and although i don’t tend to go for fantasy, i do love historical style settings & i was obsessed with wandering around and just figuring out what to do. the music, the worldbuilding, the comfort of just walking down the cobbled paths and marvelling at the nature.
it immediately made its home in my heart and it’s been a while since a game did that.
i love throwing myself in deep and learning about lore, and although i’ve only been playing for less than a week and just having fun exploring for myself, i can’t wait to learn more about the universe, the gods and goddesses, and what lead skyrim to be how it is. (still trying to grapple with the civil war - ralof is one of my absolute favourite characters but i really don’t like the overall stormcloaks attitude to non-nords, so i may end up siding with the imperials on this playthrough even though i’m not exactly a strong supporter of either!)
one of my favourite things is the fact that you can focus on whatever you like - you don’t even have to do the main quests and instead put your time into learning about the world and helping people, or explore dungeons and fight monsters. i’m personally excited to settle down & get a house with a farm!
there is absolutely so much to explore and i can’t describe how much this game has lifted my spirits. it really brought back some wonderful, childlike joy into my life. i never thought i would be so in love with a game like this for a while, and i can’t wait to see what more skyrim has to offer.

Rockstar Games can't release Grand Theft Auto VI fast enough, though as we eagerly (and impatiently) await for the next installment in the long-running GTA franchise, fan made trailers have us drooling at what the actual product could look like. The latest one comes from TeaserPlay, which used Unreal Engine 5 to render several different locations in stunning detail.
The actual game isn't likely to use UE5. Rumor has it that Rockstar Games is leaning on its own proprietary RAGE9 graphics engine, and that's both plausible and, in our opinion, very likely to be true. TeaserPlay acknowledges this in the description to its concept trailer, suggesting it wanted to render several possible locations in UE5 so we'd have something to compare with down the line.

There are a ton of leaks and rumors surrounding GTA 6. One of the more recent ones suggest there will be at least two playable protagonists, one of which is a Latina woman. The franchise hasn't featured a playable female character in a long time.
Rockstar Games has been rather short on details for the next installment, though it has at least confirmed that GTA 6 is in development.
"With the unprecedented longevity of GTA V, we know many of you have been asking us about a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series," the devloper shared in a blog post last February. "With every new project we embark on, our goal is always to significantly move beyond what we have previously delivered—and we are pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway."

I got my first 1st place finish yesterday (March 25th) (yay! :D) in an online ranked race in R3E with a Mazda MX-5 on Suzuka Circuit (Grand Prix)! I have watched numerous sim racing tips videos, read tips online including Reddit, practiced, adjusted physical hardware/seat/pedals, raced in multiple races, etc. (and all of these come together to help you, for sure, take them in, practice them, do them, speak these tips out loud while racing), but honestly, one of the BIGGEST helps has been the great feature in R3E called "Leaderboard Challenge."
For those unaware, and if you're struggling to find some time on certain tracks (and to improve even further on ones you may do decently on already): I saw this tip on a YouTube video months ago where you basically hot lap on your own via the "Single Player -> Leaderboard Challenge" option in R3E, and after you have completed a lap, see how you do on your own, try to do what you can to improve first, and then if you hit ESC and click the "Show Leaderboard" button, you can "challenge" other racers who have raced with the same car with the same settings on the same track, and it will have their "ghost car" race on the track with you based on the time they got when they did their hot lap for the leaderboard challenge. Don't choose the fastest racer, but choose one that is a spot or two above you, and once you can beat that time, you'll move up in the standings, and repeat. I will sometimes choose someone who has a two tenths or so faster time which may be multiple spots up from where I am, but the higher you get on the leaderboard, you may have to choose the next person directly above you just to try and move that little bit up the rankings and improve your time on that particular track.
I have found SECONDS off of my time doing this, not TENTHS OF SECONDS, but SECONDS! It's ingenious that you can learn from another racer who has done better than you on a track, seeing where they were better than you and mimicking those portions, while at other times realizing that YOU may have already been racing a certain part of the track faster than others. Also, by racing multiple racers' ghost cars on a track, you see different styles, approaches, techniques, etc., and you can GREATLY learn from those, so you then become a super version of those racers as you combine all of the best portions of their laps.
I'm not sure if other racing sims have this feature, but, I LOVE IT! :D It is SUPER HELPFUL for learning and growing as a racer! It's like a mentor is right there with you/in front of you, showing you the way to become better! :)
TL;DR - Use the "Leaderboard Challenge" in R3E (or if other sims have a similar feature) to learn and improve from other racers faster than you, so that you can do even better than if you were to just try to find the fastest way to go about the track by yourself. Humble yourself, and learn from others. 🙂👍
